Rated 1 out of 5 by from The fridge freezes food and drinks This is the worst fridge. It is freezing all my food and drinks on the warmest setting (1). I have followed all the instructions for resetting the fridge 5 times - "unplug and let defrost for 24 hours, wipe out excess water, plug back in for 4 hours on regular setting (4) before restocking fridge" I put a warranty claim 3 months ago with Galanz and still haven't heard back after following up 3 times. Very disappointed. Don't recommend

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Galanz Fridge We got this last Sunday Aug.13th and after 24 hours I plug it in and to my surprise both side walls were getting hot. I called the service and recommendation was to un plug it and wait 3 hrs, so I did. I plug it in the next day in the morning so I gave another 12 hrs and the same side walls were getting hot again. We are returning it to the store, I dont want to go thru repairs and worry about it. Looks nice but that's as far as it go. I don't get it how this product got 5 stars reviews. If you decide to buy it make sure to keep box and all packaging in case.

What are the specific sizes of each fridge & freezer section ?

If memory serves me correctly, the fridge is 2/3 of the whole fridge so roughly 42". The whole fridge is just over 65"

Is this fridge quieter than its competition models ie Classic, Iio? How often would you need to manually defrost this fridge?

Thank you for your interest in Galanz product. Noise level on Galanz model is 42 dBA which is same as 42 dBA on iio model. The frequency of manual defrost varies with the usage. It needs to be defrosted once a year on the average but more frequently if the freezer is filled with lots of contents taking up most of usable space inside.
