Thin wall heat-shrink tubing is great for cable insulation, marking or bundling, with superior mechanical, abrasion and moisture protection. Also good for strong rope loops and neat ends. This tubing is constructed of flame-retardant polyolefin that resists common fluids and solvents. Features a 2:1 shrink ratio. Meets UL 224, 125 degrees Celsius: CSA C22.2 No3 198.1, 125 degrees C; MIL-DTL-23053/5, Class 1 & 2, AMS 3636 & 3637; DEF STAN 59-79, Issue 3 Type 2a. Continuous operating temperature: -55 degrees Celsius (-67 degrees Fahrenheit) to 135 degrees Celsius (275 degrees Fahrenheit). Shrink temperature: 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) to 250 degrees Celsius (480 degrees Fahrenheit). 600 V/Mil Dielectric strength Multi-purpose uses may also include repairing cords and covering tool handles.
