Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s ok Oven takes a long time to warm up. Bottom oven drawer is cheap and flimsy. Glass top marks easily and it is impossible to remove some marks even with the provided cleaner and scrubby.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This stove is horrible I bought this stove at the beginning of March, just before Covid. I hate this stove. This stove was built to NOT be the correct temperature. Why, what's the point to build a stove that does not cook at the temp you set it at? The sales people at home depot had to go online to check instructions ( it does not come with this information) that say the customer can adjust the temp??? Why, if I want to cook at 350 degrees then I set the dial at 350 and even an idiot would expect the oven to cook at 350 degrees. But it doesn't and it starts to cost a lot when food is not cooked at the proper temperature. We tried to contact GE but they abandoned their customers who were stuck at home having to do all their own cooking during Covid. I used to love cooking and baking but this oven ruins all my recipes, so we just barbeque. Come winter we'll be microwaving. I know sounds gross but it's better than what this oven does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Très bon achat C'est un très bon produit. J'avais vérifié les recommandations du magazine Protes-vous avant de faire mon achat et cet appareil avait la meilleure évaluation dans sa catégorie au prix inférieur à 1000$.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loved it for 3 years We purchased this oven from HD in June of 2017. Now, today, it has a failed main board. Wow. Long gone are the days where an oven can last longer than 3 years. Looking to purchase a board for this unit, which is about 250$ (cdn). All in all, it has great functions and works really well at what it is supposed to do...but reliability may be an issue.

This Range doesn't have any outlets plug and the drawer is removable full width storage drawer, it is not a broiler drawer.

how do you run the self clean. tried according to book. no go.

Using the self-cleaning oven. www.GEAppliances.ca The oven door must be closed and all controls set correctly for the cycle to work properly. Before a Clean Cycle We recommend venting your kitchen with an open window or using a ventilation fan or hood during the first self-clean cycle. Remove broiler pan, broiler grid, all cookware and any aluminum foil from the oven. NOTE: If your oven is equipped with gray porcelain-coated oven racks, they may be left in the oven during the self-clean cycle. Soil on the front frame of the range and outside the gasket on the door will need to be cleaned by hand. Clean these areas with hot water, soap-filled steel-wool pads or cleansers such as Soft Scrub®. Rinse well with clean water and dry. Do not clean the gasket. The fiberglass material of the oven door gasket cannot withstand abrasion. It is essential for the gasket to remain intact. If you notice it becoming worn or frayed, replace it. Wipe up any heavy spillovers on the oven bottom. Make sure the oven light bulb cover is in place and the oven light is off. IMPORTANT: The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the self-cleaning cycle of any range. Move birds to another well- ventilated room. How to Set How to Set the Oven for Cleaning WARNING: The surface units are automatically disabled during the self-clean cycle. Make sure that all surface unit controls are turned off at all times during the self-clean cycle. Any surface unit that is set to an on position, while the self-clean cycle is operating, will automatically come on after the self-clean cycle is finished, and could result in an on, unattended surface unit. Wait until the self-clean cycle is finished to set and use the surface units. Touch the CLEAN pad. Using the number pads, enter the desired clean time, if a time other than 4 hours, 20 minutes is needed. Clean cycle time is normally 4 hours, 30 minutes. You can change the clean time to any time between 3 hours and 5 hours, depending on how dirty your oven is. Touch the START pad. The door locks automatically. The display will show the clean time remaining. It will not be possible to open the oven door until the temperature drops below the lock temperature and the LOCKED light goes off. When the LOCKED light goes off, you will be able to open the door. ■ The words LOCK DOOR will flash if you set the clean cycle and forget to close the oven door. ■ To stop a clean cycle, touch the OFF pad. When the LOCKED light goes off indicating the oven has cooled below the locking temperature, you will be able to open the door. You can find this in the manual on geappliances.ca
