The Extreme Cold Weather Kits include the appropriate block heater, step by step installation instructions and all necessary mounting hardware for an extra degree of extreme weather protection. This kit is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate Cold Weather Kit that contains the necessary battery warmer assembly. If not done already, the oil must be replaced with the appropriate synthetic oil. It is important to note that it is recommended that an Authorized Dealer install the Extreme Cold Weather Kit as improper installation procedures can inhibit proper generator function.

Maintenance is recommended every 200-hours or 2-years and if your generator is running in a dusty environment a more frequent maintenance schedule may be required. The Generac 6482 Maintenance Kit contains an air filter, oil filter, oil-funnel, spark plugs, wrench, chamois, instruction manual and preventative maintenance reminder sticker (Oil must be purchased separately).
