Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great mitre saw stand! I shopped around for a long time to find a affordable but reliable stand for my miter saw. I have a 12 inch dual bevel sliding 12 inch compound miter saw and it fit just fine on this stand. This stand is made with good quality materials the only thing plastic on it is the handles you fold down when putting on the bar clamps that hold the saw to the stand. It was very easy to put together and it comes in a very well protected box. This stand has a nice weight to it even without a saw attached. If you find a saw you like and it is very light, i would make sure there is not a lot of plastic parts it was made with. The bigger miter saws are much heavier than you basic ones so it will need a good supportive stand. Don't be fooled by its price. To me it is just as good as those bigger named brand stand that are several hundred dollars. Besides, its all made in China anyhow. I would buy another one of these if I need to for an additional saw. I am very happy with this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Mitre Saw Stand I searched around for a long time looking for an affordable but good quality Mitre Saw stand. It came down to choosing one that my local store sells incase I have to return it for any reason and not ship it back out. Once it arrived, I was happy to see that it was a very well pack and protected box and it had a good weight to it. Cheaper made ones are light to due a lot of plastic parts. This stand is not the case. It is very sturdy and well designed. It take only about 20 minutes total to put together and mount your mitre saw to it. Making adjustments to the clamp tightness for your saw is the longest part. Very Happy with the saw and I would buy again if I ever have another saw to add to my list of tools.

I have used it several times and it seems to work good for my projects. I put a Dewalt 12 inch miter saw on it and the stand holds it fine. I agree with outher reviewers that it could use a handle, but I've got an idea for that.

You can purchase them at a Home Depot or on the website. Just make sure it will fit your mitre saw stand. You can also get them at any other tool store or their websites.

Of what materials are the saw locking levers made?

Can the miter saw remain attached to the stand for moving and storage?
Asked by: Mac
The mounts are solid metal and the handles are a hard resin/plastic. Inside is an adjustment screw for the firmness you want when you clamp it down to the cross bars.

can you keep your saw mounted to the stand when you fold it up ?

Asked by: Macky
Yes you can. Others have posted that you cannot but that is not true. I have my 12inch dual bevel compound mitre saw mounted to this stand and I fold up the legs and move it around anywhere I want the stand to go. You just have to be able to lift each side up at a time with the weight of the saw now on the stand high enough to fold in the legs. I would start with the side with the wheels because that gives you a good starting clearance to rest on so you dont have to lift the other side off the ground too much to fold in the legs. The weight of it all now rest on the wheels. Its only a few inches off the ground to fold in the legs. Easy as that!

Will my Ryobi 7-1/4 Miter Saw fit?

Asked by: Tuls
As long as you put the mounting bars to the width of your mitre saw, I don't see why not. The only thing you have to make sure of is you have mounting holes that will line up over the clamps so you can use the provided bolts that come with the stand. A word of advice, get a little bigger washers for the mounting bolts they provide for your stand. My mitre saw mounting holes were bigger than the washer provided but it was easy.

Will my saw fit?

Will my Hitachi C12FDH 12" Dual Compound Miter Saw fit this miter saw stand
Asked by: Stu
Should fit. The mounting rails are adjustable, and if your saw has offset holes front/back, that is a little more complicated, but still can be done.
