Rated 3 out of 5 by from Legs poorly attached Good price, nice looking set but the legs are poorly designed. Directions said to make sure you attach the legs to the matching marked location on the vanity but there were no identifying markers on either the vanity base or the legs. Then there is the issue with the legs being offset so if you aren't in the right place then the legs don't align properly. Another issue is that the legs are attached to a square block of wood under the vanity and in our case one block wasn't even screwed into place and was broken so we had to glue and screw it into place. The rest of the cabinet is great. Be aware you will need to buy a drain for the sink as it doesn't come with it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality I purchased this unit in January 2018 and every aspect of it has been disappointing. Do not waste your time or money. The countertop is very delicate - its stains easily and is susceptible to burns from heat styling tools. I recommend not placing anything directly on the surface that isn't made of clear glass or plastic as its difficult to get stains out. The cabinet finish only lasted about a year before it started to peel and chip. It looks terrible and cheap now. The cabinet structure lasted a bit longer but the drawers have started to seize now and becoming increasingly difficult to move in and out. The unit was in a well ventilate, dry climate, with minimal use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very frustratrating to complete installation Received this vanity yesterday anb began the challenge b yputting the knobs on the drawers It shouldn't have been daunting but the 1" screws that accompanied the knobs were too short. Perhaps they knew this as they added 4 11/2" screws but as 5 are needed it is now a task to find and buy a matching screw. The feet are to be by installed matching corresponding. letters. That's clear enough, if there were letters on the feet to match! this is a beautiful vanity and appears to be of good quality. However material missing to put this vanity together is extremely frustrating..itTwould also be helpful if the screws to affix unit to studs ere included..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your time The top on this was damaged from factory. Many chips, scratches and miscolourations. I returned to store and staff was very helpful. We had to go thru 5 new boxes to find a top that was acceptable. ( all 6 where damaged from factory. ). The actual stand had a few minor dents and missing stain around that’s drawer. It’s a cheap vanity and mirror so guess you get what you pay for. If I wasn’t buying for a house flip then I would have returned completely. I honestly would t wast your time on this product

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad legs - not impressed Bought this a couple weeks ago for my bathroom reno. It looked good and every thing was in great condition. Went to put the legs on as they screw on like couch legs and I noticed they screwed into 3/4" wooden spacers held in place by 3 finishing nails and one screw. There were two screw holes but only one had a screw in it. Seemed a little iffy but I tried putting the legs on and as I screwed the first one in I couldn't achieve full depth of the leg bolt, I gave an extra turn and it cracked the wooden spacer and the embedded nut fell out. Off to a good start. No worries if it's just one, no big deal I can easily fix that myself. Nope, two of the four legs don't reach proper depth. Worse, one of the two that did seat properly was predrilled too wide and the whole spacer came right off when I checked the strength of the leg. So I removed all the spacers, glued clamped, redrilled and set with two longer screws (as opposed to just one), then glued and set the legs. It's rock solid now and the rest of it seems like it's really well built and looks great. It seems like a design flaw. I would not buy this unless you really love it and are prepared to fix it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheaply made Took a long time to get. It was delivered by one guy ( package is really heavy) he was dropping the vanity everywhere in my driveway. When i open it few wood pieces were broken and missing. The screws to install the handles are too long so you have to cut them. I gave 2 stars because it looks nice. Had to call a plumber to install it because the pipe was not long enough. You can tell it is cheaply made

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Half bath primary bedroom renovation We are really happy with this purchase. The vanity looks nice as picture. It had minor imperfection on the paint door otherwise looks perfect. Soft close, and lots of storage. Overall, we would recommended this vanity.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Vanity is OK but where’s the mirror? Originally purchase the chocolate brown version which included a matching mirror. Returned this unit to get the white version. For some strange reason there is no mirror included with the white vanity set and worse, there is NO matching mirror sold separately! Doesn’t make sense. Both are identical vanities other than colour.

Can I drill for 8" spread faucet? I already bought faucets

Asked by: SueAnn
Hi SueAnn, Thank you kindly for your review of the 36 in. Ashland vanity in White. We regret to inform you that you would not be able to drill into the vanity top to fit an 8 in. widespread faucet. Fortunately, the vanity top is pre-drilled for a 4 in. centerset faucet. We recommend consulting with your local Home Depot for faucet suggestions that best match your home decor and vanity top configuration. Best Regards.

Can anyone recommend a method to attach the sink to the cabinet that doesn't rely on 4 small dabs of silicon? Thanks!

Asked by: Jason
In reply to Wood Crafters, the vanity top only comes in contact with the vanity cabinet at 4 points on the corners, covering about a dimes worth of space per corner. I've got the vanity cabinet and sink flush to the back wall, but it barely touches the vanity top on the four corners, and not at all on the 4 edges.

what is the diameter of the centre hole for faucet size?

Asked by: LRom
I’m not sure (it’s in our tenants suite) but I can say that the quality of this vanity is terrible!  The finishing started chipping off of the drawers in just a couple months.

How high does the plumbing have to be off the ground to clear the bottom shelf? And how far off the wall can the plumbing be to fit?

Asked by: Rmelissa
Hello Rmelissa, Thank you for your question. We are happy to report that the distance from the bottom of the floor to clear the bottom shelf is roughly 8.5 in. H. We can also confirm that the Ashland vanity is a free-standing unit and it is not required for you to install the cabinet against the wall; this should not affect your installation or plumbing process. For questions regarding the details of the Ashland cabinet, our best recommendation would be for you to print or save a copy of the detailed specifications that have been uploaded to the product page (under Info & Guides) or consult with your local Home Depot Bath Team. You may find the specifications by visiting the direct link https://homedepot.scene7.com/s7viewers/html5/eCatalogViewer.html?config=Scene7SharedAssets/Universal_HTML5_eCatalog&asset=homedepotcanada/ALII36P2_%282020%29-pdf.pdf here.
