Rated 4 out of 5 by from Please Read This Review This product seems to be receiving bad reviews but it shouldn't. First off. This is a great shower body to refinish your bathroom. It is a budget friendly product so yes the finish will get fingerprints, but those can be wiped down easily. And as with all things, if you don't clean your restroom often enough stains will stick. Now onto the big stuff (problems and fixes) : 1. Biggest complain is that there is barely any hot water after install. This is true but done on purpose so that people do not burn themselves upon first use. Every house hold is different and each boiler heats water to different temperatures. So to eliminate this Glacier Bay reduces the amount of hot water coming into the mix. SOLUTION: If you read the booklet that comes inside (also available in PDF format from this website) you'll realize that if you remove the handle then remove the screw found in the middle, then remove the housing you'll find that there is a red adjustment cup that can be set counterclockwise towards the positive symbol and allows more hot water to enter the mix (remove red cup and place back at desired setting). I'm sure households with kids will appreciate this default. 2. Second complain is low pressure coming from the shower head. Yes, this is true but set like that by default from the manufacturer. Some households like to save water. For those that don't or are willing to shell out the extra expense for a faster shower... SOLUTION: Simply remove the shower head from the shower arm and inside you'll notice a light blue plastic piece, hugging a part of that piece towards the middle is a small black rubber washer. Use a small tweezer or something and simply remove it. It is in place to reduce the water flow. By removing it you are opening up the valves and allowing more water into the shower head. No this isn't in the booklet and probably should be but hey if you're a true DIY'r then you should've figured this one out on your own. No one is perfect. I would have uploaded pictures but I only got to reading all these trash reviews after having fixed everything already. Hope this helps someone. Oh and by the way. This shower body looks beautiful.

Shower valve had to be replaced by manufacturer due to defect, which took many weeks. Replacement part wasn’t exact but by then, I already bought a replacement.
