But I never realized how much goes on in front of my house I am getting way too many alerts I have to adjust the settings to only alert me to pertinent information. I am sure the fault lies with me not going deep enough into the settings but I am extremely happy overall.

You get what you pay for and I had been too spoiled by Nest already, so I returned those and immediately purchased Nest Outdoor. Very happy with my purchase.

Only giving it 4 stars due to the monthly subscription being so spendy, especially if you own more than one camera.

    Can this camera be hooked up to a laptop computer

    You can monitor this camera from a laptop - but the connection is through the cloud. Consider significant costs to access the cloud application and BIG bandwidth requirements - up to 380GB per month.

    What is the temperate ranges for operation? I live in Winnipeg Manitoba, where our winters can be around -45C and our summers around +35C

    Now that we've had plenty of days below -20C here in Winnipeg can somebody confirm that their camera still worked? This is the biggest thing holding me back from getting one. Why would they design a camera and sell to a Canadian market to only work till -20?
