When I built them,according to the directions, I realized how thin and flimsy the wood is. Both bottoms broke apart as soon as I added the soil!! We had to buy plywood and cut it to size to remedy this. The plastic liners are a joke -white Velcro on stained wood at the top of the inside edge looks so ugly - I decided to rip it off

Its rustic look blends in with the colour of my deck, which diverts attention towards the contents of the planter. However, the assembly process was quite challenging, not every piece would fit together if you follow the instructions as given.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely cheap material The supposed "wood" basically falls apart as you put screws into it, I can see the wood splintering apart as you apply even the slightest pressure to secure the screws into its place. Do not even attempt to put any soil or plants into this thing, it will just crack under the pressure.This thing utterly useless, I wouldn't even bother to use the wood as kindling.

There were several large gaps once assembled. They look just fine, but we haven’t planted anything yet and will wait until next year to see if the gaps make a difference. Appreciate that they are made from reclaimed wood, but performance will be the determining factor in my satisfaction of the product.

The liners are a great feature. The planters are easy to assemble provided you keep each 'side panel complete with recessed corner bracket' intact as packaged.
