The Grip-Rite GRTFR83 Short Body Plastic Collated Framing Nailer is one of the most durable, yet lightweight framing nailers on the market. Well balanced and weighing in at only 6.9 lbs., the GRTFR83 dramatically reduces user fatigue. Rugged design and built to be used in professional framing, truss, sheathing, roof decking, and industrial applications. Equipped with a revolutionary head-valve system, the Grip-Rite framing nailer recycles a portion of the air after each shot and dramatically reduces the amount of air needed for the next nail. This not only ensures a flush drive of the nail each and every time the tool is fired, it increases the number of nails fired per compressor cycle. The Grip-Rite GRTFR83 also comes with a switch-able trigger allowing fast and easy switching between sequential fire and bump fire. Thats not all! The GRTFR83s Dual Loading System allows the user to load strips of nails through the top of the magazine, or through the rear of the magazine.

I bought one of these from the pro desk, and have loved it. its lighter than normal guns and is a good average price! I haven't had am issue with the nail not being driven into the wood. I definitely will be buying another

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Light on Quality too. This nailer constantly misfires and jams, and although lightweight, I'd rather have quality than a light weight piece of junk. The thing jams all the time and misfires nails so I spent way more time hasseling with clearing jams than any other nailer I"ve ever used. The firing cylinder has a concave shaft that supposedly recycles the compression by allowing air to escape back up the shaft, but it results in almost never getting a full depth drive, and I ended up having to hammer 90% of the nails to fully seat them. Avoid this product, mine is a piece of junk which will end up at the pawn shop.
