Everything is great except that during installation, I discovered that the hot & cold connectors were not the standard size and required that I buy different hoses. That was a drag, but I’ve gotten over it.

Item was delivered promptly and as described. I put this in the "mud room" farm-style sink. I use it when bringing fruits and vegetables in from the garden. The sprayer comes out easily with no "strength" needed. It also retracts smoothly with no difficulties. The installation directions were quite clear and all the "parts" were included in the packaging. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Junk. Pull Out Sprayer feels cheap. This feels like one of those cheap $75 units I've bought for an outdoor wash bin sink. I'm going to take it out of my kitchen and use it somewhere else. The installation is more complicated than other major brands, because Grohe likes to use extra parts in their design. Once you get it all together, it doesn't leak. But, the Head is made out of plastic. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice, feels cheap My wife and I run a small property business in western Pennsylvania. I am the registered contractor of the outfit and head up our small work crew. We have quite a bit of experience in kitchen renovation. I’ve reviewed a number of GROHE products on this site and I feel qualified to make a wide statement about the company. GROHE makes remarkably cheap inexpensive kitchen faucets. And “inexpensive,” in this case, apparently means a product that costs a great deal more than what most people would consider inexpensive. It’s really amazing and perhaps a bit diabolical how they mess up the execution. Take this faucet, for example. It has a beautiful solid body. The smooth action of the handle and body is remarkable. It does have a problem with the base that I will detail later. But the faucet head is chromed plastic, and it feels straight-up cheap, like a fifteen-dollar tinfoil faucet from overseas you’d find in the back racks of a particularly dingy dollar store. It’s not like GROHE went out of their way to make the whole faucet out of cheap components. They just heaped all their cost savings on the most visible part. I imagine some panel of bobbleheaded yes-men German engineers sitting across from the head honcho all nodding in synchronized agreement when he proposed this means of cutting spending on making this faucet. “Of course, sir! You are the smartest person who has ever been in this room!" OK, let me not dwell on that further. The mount for this is hinky. I’ve reviewed one other faucet that has this mount, an internally rotating cylinder inside the body proper. It’s a great idea, on the surface. The problem comes when you try to install this faucet on a lot of imperfect granite holes cut on-site by granite countertop installers. A lot of these holes aren’t cut well enough here in the States to make good use of this system, and for the ones that aren't, there's not much you can do. You can also use this with a putty plate to install on a drop-in stainless steel sink (and to cover a bad granite hole.) That would largely eliminate the sloppy hole problem. But if that were the preferred form of installation, why do you have to buy a putty plate separately for this item? It all seems a bit grasping and again, cheap. Anyway, that’s my take. Ultimately, I don’t like this faucet. If the looks are what you need, be aware that there’s a good chance it will probably be difficult to install on your granite countertop and get the mount to operate correctly, if you want to install it on stainless you’ll need the expensive GROHE putty plate. and the head feels cheap.
