Rated 5 out of 5 by from TOASTS GREAT!!! this product replaces my good "old" one that lasted for 50 yrs!!! i really like this unit. toasts bagels and bread slices GREAT. also baked frozen apple tarts and baked to perfection. easy to use. i did have to look at the manuel a couple of times to make sure i was using it the right way. extremely happy with it and do like it much better than my old GE toaster oven. toasts and bakes very evenly. definitely recommend it. the top doesn't get hot. crumb feature could be improved, but am able to remove to clean.

My wife has limited vision, and she has difficulty reading the dials, especially the toast-darkness control, which is a small arc with very small indicator icons along it. Also, it is difficult to clean the crumb tray at the bottom.

Yes, a 6 cupcake muffin tin fits in the Hamilton Beach toaster oven. Simply remove metal shelf and slide muffin tin in Grove, 2 levels of groves also.

The Hamilton Beach website gives the dimensions of their model #31142 as: Height - 9.88 Width - 16.54 Depth - 13.11. They answered this question themselves in this feed, but somehow provided different dimensions. Not sure which is correct, but both answers were from the manufacturer!

It comes with a tray that fits under the wire rack. it doubles as a cooking tray also when not needed for crumbs.
