Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Gazebo purchase Mosquito netting needs to be a little wider by about 2 inches for each curtain or narrower by 2 inches.. As is, it is too loose when put in front of the corner posts and too tight when put on the outside of the corner posts. The instructions don't give any idea for inside or out. Having the Mosquito netting on the outside gives a very tight fit. Almost too tight. We had very high winds yesterday and it with stood the winds. Just make sure you secure the curtains to the corner posts and take the top umbrella off. Taking off the top umbrella and putting it on again is a one person operation, very easy and very nice. We are happy with this purchase.

It's a very nice product, but I thought that for the price, there would have been a little more quality involved. When putting it together. I found one of the inserts of threads were missing in one of the poles. So I had to super glue a nut to the inside of the pole so the screw had threads to screw in to. The package of nuts and bolts was already open when 1st opening the box. I ended up with 2 missing screws when finished. The last problem I saw was in the top cover. There are 2 eyelets on each side. One of the sides has no eyelets at all. Just holes. So I'm going to have to resolve that issue before the top starts to tear or fray at those holes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value With a bit of fiddling, this was assembled in 2 hours by 1 person ( unpacking / unwrapping / removing labels is 30 minutes worth of effort ). The parts were labeled well & the instructions were pretty good. Having a screw gun & sockets will speed up assembly over the supplied "tools". It's definitely a light-duty structure, but with some care it should last many seasons. Overall, it performs quite well - keeps 95% of the bugs out, vents nicely at the top, & provides adequate protection from rain (if it's not blowing too hard). I don't think you can find anything better at this very low price point.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did not last one year This was very easy to assemble. We opted to secure the frame to our cement patio with concrete screws and this worked exceptionally well. However after 9 months, the smaller top portion of the canopy frame came undone and cannot be welded. Also, one of the corner frames dropped a stablizing bar at the bottom that cannot be welded. The canopy itself came apart at the corners where it secures to the corner of the frame. The canopy also ripped along each of the sides near the bottom after 9 months and is already dry rotted. If the product would have held up, it would have been fantastic and we enjoyed it while it lasted. But in my opinion, it should have at the very least, lasted a year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality Pros- Not difficult to assemble, economical Cons - Poor quality control, Parts manufactured poorly We have two issues with a brand new product - both covers, the large and small were defective. The small one has the material so thin we can see light through it in parts. The large cover had two of the pockets where the roof frame sits into sewn on in the wrong places (about 4 inches over from where they should be). Contacted the mfg, both items on back order - no help whatsoever. Still waiting for replacement covers. I would not buy from this manufacturer again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from POOR WELDS, did not last a entire season. Looks great but the quality is poor, cheap metal framework and cheaper welds caused a total failure in less than 5 months. I attempted to repair the broken pieces and realized the metal was inferior and would just continue to crack and deteriorate under the new welds. Total shame since it looked great but failed to remain standing and would of cost more to execute the warranty. Would be better off using plastic since the metal is so weak and the weld rust.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product looks great I was able to put the gazebo together by myself, but it took about 5 hours. The roof was the most difficult to put onto the rods, but having done this a time or two, I put three corners inside the tarp and then wedged the fourth corner into the roof. It takes a lot of strength, but it worked. It was difficult to put the second roof (top) on, but figured it out and the whole project looks good. I live in Colorado and putting blocks of concrete on the bottom holds it during the 50-60 mph winds we get occasionally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Canopy for the money We bought our first canopy in 2011 and it sat in the box until we finished the deck. Once it was up, it looked so amazing. It really is an extension of our house. It lasted for 3 years and then a strong wind in November brought it down. We normally take the canopy down in October but didn't get to it in time... completely our fault. We are on our second canopy and again are extremely happy with it. We thought the price was very reasonable and have gotten so many compliments on it. We live outside from May until October.

installing over the porch area

Is it possible to assemble on porch or it should be only on the ground?
Asked by: Homa
I suppose you could but I would bolt it down to the porch. We have ours installed on the corner of a very large patio so we have nylon cording and rods into the ground about 2-3' on three sides and concrete square stepping stones anchoring the fourth corner.

How/ what anchors it to the ground?

Asked by: Dale
There are holes in the pieces that contact the ground. You can use spikes for soft ground or screws for wood/concrete.

Should this, or can this be removed for winter months and stored? Or will hold up through winter snow? I live in New York

Asked by: Deb
The Harbor Gazebo features a rust resistant steel frame in a powder coated finish, however, Patio furniture can rust or deteriorate without the proper care. We recommend to cover and or store your patio furniture when any formidable or severe weather is approaching.

Can it be installed without those decorative sides? I have a 12x12 deck. Will this be too big for it?
Asked by: Gaby
The decorative parts are what the stakes go through to hold it down. Even with it, this gazebo is not very sturdy. Ours lasted only a few months and the wind pulled it out of the ground and snapped the bottom. Not worth the price, I bought one at big lots a few years ago that was only $250.00 and was much better quality than this junk.
