Having bought similiar lights for our other bedrooms, we revisited Home Depot to see what they had. We saw, appreciated and chose their 3 light Pewter Clip Flushmount Ceiling Light. It was a great choice. Not overstated, gives great lighting and blended in nicely with the newly painted colour we had chosen for the room. It was easily installed and we are very happy with it.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product but one socket didn't work We bought two of these items. We had no issues with one, the worked great. Brighten the room and was okay to install. I just wish the part that screws into the fixture was longer, the three wires for each socket would have been connected to a single wire making it easy to install. I had no issues with the glass fixture. As for the second one, after installing it one of the sockets didn't work. just like one of the other reviewers. We thought the wires were loose so we undid everything and tried it again and the same problem. We bought two months ago, it is going back in for a replacement.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from An okay light, quality for money is reasonable I've purchased several convex, flush mount, marble shade lights across years. As for this model, poster mississauga7112 is correct in saying that the "pewter" clips on these are presently (Dec 2019) only a stamped thin metal. I think there is enough material there to functionally last a "lifetime", but the appearance is "cheap" because the metal is thin (no bulk to the clip). Also, I am thinking that this stamped metal may experience minor corrosion/deterioration across several years (gut feeling - experience seeing similar). One of my mounting bars/plates was already experiencing this same type of deterioration, right out of the box. Reasonable looking lighting product, good price point, with so-so quality (China, folks!). Frankly, I'd rather pay $5 more for quality clips and slightly better quality over-all, and would probably pay upwards of $10 more for manufacturing in USA/Canada.

    Why are there 2 black and 2 white wires on this light, instead of the standard one of each so it’s straight forward to install?

    How do you get the marbled shade off, to change the bulbs?

    One of the clips is spring loaded.  It will be stiff, but push it back, the shade will drop down and then you can slide  it out of the other two clips.  Change the build and reverse the steps to put the shade back on.  It’s a bit awkward at first but once you find the spring loaded clip, it’s a breeze!
