Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Product! Does not work with plastic round ceiling box, which are code in wood frame houses. When I told the manager at Home Depot, I was told to replace all the round ceiling boxes with metal octagons, probably $2k work (drywall, paint, labour) to make a $14 product work.

The light only gives you one or two directions to install on your ceiling, depending on where the screw holes on the electrical box is. That means the track light is not lined up with the room. On a diagonal. A friend also had this problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This bracket is poorly designed I am going to have to modify the bracket. I have a 3" ceiling box existing and want to run my track parallel to my longest wall. However, my ceiling box (octagonal) has the screws in the corners. That is the only choice on an octagonal box. Unfortunately, this bracket is only set up for corner screws for 4" boxes. The only holes it has for 3" boxes assume a single orientation--the screws must be to the sides of the track! What a stupid design!

Lacking instructions, but I have installed a number of these over the years so I am quite capable w/o instructions. Average product; nothing special yet nothing lacking. Worked as it should.

After buying a second one I eventually got this installed. Looks poor. Fit and finish bad. Not recommended. Generally, there is not a lot of product options when going to the nearest store.

can i have track exit both sides of this head

i want to mount this in the middle and have the track go in 2 directions

This power feed snaps in anywhere along the length of your track. It is not a 'Tee' or 'In-Line' connector. This allows the used to install anywhere along the track needed for their installation without the neex to cut or alter the track in any way.
