The Hampton Bay Low Voltage 50-Watt Equivalent LED Flood Light offers the option of three light colors. The integrated switch rotates to choose from 2700K Warm White, 3000K Soft White or 4000K Daylight light color. The flood beam angle is perfect for highlighting wide areas, as well as enhancing home security. On any of the 3 light color settings, it consumes over 80% less energy than a typical halogen light and has a rated life of 50,000 hours. The LED system provides maintenance free operation and there are no bulbs to change. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've done a number of outdoor lighting projects over the years and have tried a variety of fixtures from different manufacturers. I've found these Hampton Bay lights to be an excellent value. The fixtures are solid metal, heavy-duty, and the finish is attractive and durable. Installation is a snap - just attach the ground stake, position the light, and use the quick connection to tie it into the main low voltage line from the transformer (sold separately). I used this 50 watt equivalent floodlght to up light a tree and it looks great. And being an LED light, it uses very little power and should last for years. I highly recommend this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outdoor light is a 50 watt equivalent bulb and only uses less then 10 watts , so you can add on many more lights on one transformer it’s well engineered with the settings of a switch for selecting the color of light for that specific area right behind the light itself this feature is new and for an led it really covers a lot of area Attaching the wires to the power cable is very easy just line up the small holders and squeeze i use these lights all the time and will use them again . Nice quality product

The wiring connector seems to work great and simplifies installation and eliminates the need to use waterproof wire nuts. I wrapped the connections with electrical tape as recommended in the installation paperwork. Only time will tell if that connection works long term. If it were to fail you could always rework the connection with waterproof wire nuts. The ability to adjust the color temperature is a nice feature, it allows you to see what works best for your application and also allows you to match to other existing lights if you have others installed.

The LED flood light has a knob at the rear of the light body that can be rotated to choose your favorite color temperature from three options: 2700K warm white, 3000K warmest white, or 4000K bright white. The light is made of cast aluminum construction, and has a powder coat finish, weatherproof electronics, and a quick-install wire connector. The lamp body can rotate up and down 136 degrees. This construction outlasts the lights made of plastic especially here in our Florida climate. Do-it-yourself installation is quick, easy, and safe. This LED CCT Landscape Flood light provides ideal lighting for illuminating and accenting shrubs, trees, and buildings, as well as enhancing security. I left the light setting on my light as it came from the factory, on the warmest white. I have had many compliments about the way my home looks at night illuminated.

The fixture itself is made of aluminum and will not rust, and is large and heavy. The 75 watt equivalent LED bulb is very bright and you can rotate it up and down and uses only 9.8 watts I have one on each end of my island and they are so much brighter than their replacements. There is also an adjustment to warm, soft, or daylight, by turning a knob. The bulb has a lifetime of 50,000 hours. Great fixture!!

The only feature that kept me from giving this fixture 5 stars is the connector that attaches the light to the wiring main run. It has the same connector as all Hampton Bay lights that pierce the insulation of the main run on both sides or both conductors. This does work but my experience has been that these connectors don't always make good contact with the copper conductor. For this light the connection worked well at least for the time being. Commercial grade outdoor lighting uses a different method that is a bit more involved but is more robust. That said, the fixture itself seems well made and is metal and not plastic. The knob that holds the light head at the desired angle works well to hold the light in place. The light color feature allows you to match light color temperature to other outdoor lights you have or select a custom color temperature for a single area. The color range is from warm white to daylight in terms of how light color temperature is described. Don't mistake this for a feature of some LEDs that allows a light to be changed from red to blue. The color temperature is a bit subtle from 2700K to 3000K but noticeably more blu-ish white on the 4000K setting (see photos). The manufacturer decided to skip a 5000K setting that would definite give that blue-white look and I think that was a wise choice. You get enough light to light up an rather large tree or an entire wall with the light properly placed. Note that this light is NOT dimmable so if you don't need a lot of light go with a fixture with a lower lumen rating but this light is for you if you want a lot of light in a single fixture with a fairly wide disbursement. BTW, the light appears a bit brighter on the 4000K setting. Not sure if it is actually putting out more lumens.

Hi, mine is installed with a transformer which utilizes a light sensor to generate the "on" time and we can then set for x number of hours we wish for it to stay on. Had the electrician install the low voltage wire and once I picked up the lights it was very easy to install (just clip it to the wire) and has worked perfectly for over a year now. No fading on the paint so far either.
