Rated 1 out of 5 by from Rattled and difficult to install The fan I received rattled like there were loose bearing inside, and even when not rattling it was more like a one sone model not a 0.3. I ended up taking it out and replacing it with a different brand which was much quieter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Quiet Just installed this fan today. It is very quiet. Installation was a bit tricky, as we cut the hole and then could not fit the unit through the hole from the front. We had to install it from the back (we installed this on the bathroom wall, and had plenty of space because the hot water tank 'room' is directly behind). We also had to shorten a couple of the suspension brackets. All in all, it worked out, and we are pleased. Our old fan was cheap and noisy (3 sones), so we notice a definite improvement. Because this new fan is 70 CFM (old one was 50), I am sure it will perform as expected in clearing out humidity from the bathroom.

Is this unit plug in to wall outlet or does it have to be hardwired so to speak into an existing power source?

    Asked by: Robb

I recently bought this fan and when it is turned off my potlights flickers is there a way to prevent this? Seems like inductive kick.
