Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Lynnfield Finally a patio set with four comfortable chairs and no loveseat that no one wants to sit at. We have had Hampton Bay ceiling fans and very happy with the quality of their product. I rated this set as 4, because they are heavy, solid pieces with comfort to boot. I was very disappointed with the assembly process. The pieces were not consistently shaped or aligned. I attached all the bolts loosely, then had my wife sit in the chair while I tightened all the connecting bolts. I could only get one out of the four chairs to sit with all four legs even with the floor. The othrr three are tippy until you sit. The assembly involves bolts and washers that screw into an imbedded bolt in the connecting piece. For some reason, there was no imbedded bolt at the top of each seat back. Just a drilled hole. If you tighten it too much, it will strip leaving no secure fastening. The tradtional mickey mouse wrench that came with the set was difficult to describe as a tool. Plan on using your own wrench (11mm I think) and there is very little room for a ratchet or power tool. Happy with the finished product. A little disappointed with Hampton Bay product quality (assembly).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor foam quality I've had these chairs on my patio for less than one summer. Within the first few uses, the foam in the seat cushions lost all shape and became hard and flat. In each chair, there is now a permanent deep depression. This is especially obvious on one chair where the first user was sitting off center. The back cushions seem to be holding their shape and the frames and table are very sturdy. It's unfortunate the chairs are not as comfortable as they look because of the poor quality foam. I wouldn't buy this set again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Where do I start? Ok, let me say the quality of the materials seems very good. The challenge started when I brought it home. All the pieces were there so that was a bonus. The table went together quickly without any problems and the 'wrench' they give you is basically useless. Find a adjustable wrench or a good set of pliers. Now the chairs...oh boy. It took me over 3 hours to get 1 chair done that I could use. I had 2 other chairs partially assembled but could not finish as the holes on one did not line up correctly and the other one, the threading of one of the holes for the seat was flawed and I could not thread the long screw, no matter how many of the screws I tried. Now I will have to go to a hardware store and hopefully find a self tapping screw that is long enough. You have no idea the frustration. I took pieces apart to try and line up holes and to no avail. I am not saying do not buy this set as the price is fair...I do suggest you pay Home Depot the 100 dollars they want to charge you to assemble it and save yourself the aggravation. BTW...there are 2 LARGE boxes that come with the set and the large box weighs over a hundred pounds.
