Rated 3 out of 5 by from Solid, but.... The first stand I bought was great and sits ok on the deck. I purchased a second one for another area. The manufacturer over poured the concrete into the resin base, which does not allow the base to sit properly on my deck. I was able to alleviate this problem by attaching furniture pads to the bottom four corners, which brought the level of the base up beyond the concrete. The other issue I have with both units is that they do not actually fit a 1.5" umbrella pole. Even after screwing down the adjustable pole holder, the knob does not screw in enough to hold the umbrella pole from spinning around. The screw knob definitely needs to be longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap for a reason I bought this at the start of the summer and the plastic holder broke the first time I put an umbrella in it. Also there is no drainage so the umbrella holder portion fills with water and rusts the umbrella. You have to remove the umbrella and tip it upside down to drain it everytime. Finally I was quite surprised to find the bottom is just rough, unfinished and uneven concrete that can scratch your deck or patio surface. Cheap for a reason, I would not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT PURCHASE Don't purchase this product. I've had it for about 10 min and it has managed to do about $150 worth of damage to my brand new composite deck. I made the wrong assumption that this product would be encased in the same plastic coating you see on top. However the bottom is rimmed in the plastic and the centre is exposed jagged concrete, which in this case extend beyond the plastic rim and as I moved it across my new deck it left a nice gouge across two 12' boards (about $75 a piece).

However, I hesitate to recommend the product as only after 2 months of use, the plastic adapter cracked where the screw/knob is. The adapter should be made of metal for durability as the plastic will not hold up.

Aucun remboursmeent possible en magasin, il faut traiter avec le fournisseur directement, un paquet de troubles... nous avons donc décidé de le reparer nous meme en esperant que ca tienne au moins pour toute la saison...

Est-ce que le plastique enrobe le béton jusque en-dessous aussi ? Le but est de ne pas faire de marque sur le bois de mon nouveau patio, et donc d'avoir un dessous aussi lisse que possible.

Réponse à ma propre question ! : Le plastique couvre une partie du dessous seulement. Il enrobe le contour, jusqu'à environ 3 cm du bord. La surface en-dessous est donc rugueuse et peut laisser des marques dans un patio de bois, mais se lisse facilement avec une ponceuse. Placer des caoutchouc autocollants en-dessous serait une bonne précaution.
