This Umbrella Base 4-Pack is perfect for securely supporting your offset patio umbrella. This fillable base is meant to be used with offset umbrellas with a cross bar base. Each plate features a spout to help with quick and convenient filling with sand or water, as well as easy cleaning and storage. The plates are made of sturdy High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic and can hold up to 55 lbs. of sand for a total of 220 lbs. to ensure your umbrella will stand up to the wind and elements. Convenient handle on each plate make it easy to move and position after they are filled.

In the end, the umbrella won out and even though the wind prevents us from having this up most days, we are happy with the purchase. On the days the wind is calm and the sun is hot and we don't have a dozen things to do, it is easy to fall asleep in the shade of the large umbrella knowing that this base safely secures it to the ground. I was always envious of how my cats fell asleep by the screen door with the summer breeze streaming through their whiskers. Now I know what it feels like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great base! this is a great base. love the handles on each piece as it makes it easy to move. i was going to put sand in all the pieces however after spending far too long putting sand in the first one (bought the sand from HD but it wasnt dry so clogged easily in the funnel) the final 3 pieces i put water in. cant tell there is any difference to look at. the sand is slightly heavier. i will remove the water in winter. and great price too!

Does this base work for a 10ft 360 rotating Hampton Bay offset umbrella purchased at Home Depot? Will it hold it? Will it allow me to use the 360 degree rotating function fully?
