The Elite Allergen Air Filter is made of a reinforced pleated media designed to capture particles down to the micro particle level. The large surface area improves the efficiency and increases dust holding capacity. Its electrostatic charge helps attract particles "magnetically" that otherwise would pass through the filter. Housed in a recyclable clay-coated frame, this filter captures particles as small as 0.3 microns. In comparison, a human hair is approximately 100 microns in size. The Elite Allergen is effective against the following contaminants: dust/lint, airborne dust mite debris, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, bacteria, microscopic allergens, virus carriers, odour and most smoke and smog particles.
