Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work I bought this for a bathroom renovation to cut through 1.5” PVC waste pipe and 1.25” polypropylene drain pipe, thinking it would be easier than using a hacksaw. It didn’t work for either pipe. It made a dent in the waste pipe, but even with the ratcheting action, it couldn’t cut all the way through. For the polypropylene pipe, the plastic was too flexible so this tool just squeezed the pipe. Perhaps it would be fine for smaller riding PVC pipe, but don’t bother with 1.5” PVC despite claiming to handle pipes up to 1 5/8”
