I figured I would paint over it but I don’t mind it but I have some spray paint if I change my mind. Easy to change color if you want. There was one tab that was slight out of alignment which was frustrating during assembly but a few hammer taps took care of it. Happy with purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Benches are very nice and eye catching and different so... Benches are very nice and eye catching and different so that are a really neat accent to any garden. They are sturdy enough for 2 people. The seat portion of the bench measures 40 x 17 3/4, so finding a cushion or bench pad should be easy enough. We bought two of the benches to use in a sitting area/courtyard outside of front door. Lots of compliments from people walking and driving by. It is much of an "art piece" as it is a bench, so, we really like them. Ordered in black and color is not solid jet black, there is a hint of reddish black color to make it look a bit more rustic, antiqued. I really like that is is not solid jet black becasue when sun hits it is makes it a bit more interesting. I found same exact bench at other sides for more than doubles the price at Home Depot. I am finding that in a lot of my online shopping lately that all sites carry same exact products, I just look around for cheapest price. Home Depot usually has it. Also, if you don't like something, very easy to return it to the store instead of calling or paying for return shipping.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Butterfly Garden Chair, black color I was disappointed with the poor coverage of the black powder coating. My bench was more red than black when I opened the box. I had to purchase 2 cans of black semigloss Rustoleum and coat the bench myself. The finished product is beautiful, but it was not worth the high price I paid. The seat pad was also an extra purchase.
