Rated 5 out of 5 by from Privacy screen Really happy with the product. Put together easily and looks great. I also picked up a few of the planters that hang off the screen and they are also great quality and look good. My only complaint would be the price but it is what it is.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good easy fence system. Good system - easy to use and put together. The screws didn't quite fit into the top but had to finesse them in a little. I like the space between, just enough to allow a breeze through and not make it so vulnerable to wind, but still has more than enough privacy. I like that the bands can be just cut to whatever length you need (up to a max of 72 inches I think).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from End posts So far so good. Looks good two months after install and looks like it will hold up pretty well. 4 star because I haven’t had it in long enough yet to see if it will still be good in a couple of years.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Privacy fence The kit was easy to install, just had to put a 2x2 up the center To keep fence boards from warping. But it looked great when it was done. Could have use a fence board up the center, I guess.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bon produit avec petites réserve esthétiques Les 2 base pour fixer les poteaux n’étaient pas identique.

How would you suggest that the 2 posts be anchored in soil?

Asked by: Uniacke
These posts should not be anchored to soil, they require a solid material like concrete or lumber for anchoring. Alternatively, you might be able to use a large paving stone or something like that.

WHAT IS THE SIZE OF THE ANCHOR BRACKET. CAN IT BE MOUNTED ON A 6"X6" (WHICH IS PROBABLY CLOSER TO 5.5X5.5}

Asked by: WOODSTER
Hi, Please note that the anchor bracket size is 5" 1/4 x 5" 1/4, it cannot be mounted on a 6'' x 6", we suggest you use at least a 8" x 8". To make sure that you anchor our posts correctly, we would need more information regarding your deck. Hope you have great success with your poject! HOFT Team!

Can the post be installed into the ground using concrete? If so, what should be the depth and the diameter of the hole in the ground for a 6ft fence?

Asked by: RonL
The posts are only 6’ long. Anchors in the concrete would work.

I was wanting to use this system on a 3rd story deck on one side instead of railing. Would that meet code/ is it safe?

Asked by: Dale
Hi.  I would expect this would NOT meet any safety codes.  The design is great and works well, and make a very nice privacy screen.  This is not structural.

Can a 3 inch post be mounted in the ground using Pylex-Spytek-22-Adjustable-Ground-Spike? or is there a better way to anchor to soil? https://www.homedepot.com/p/ce-fits-2-in-x-2-in-Square-Post-13015/314175733

Asked by: WTOM
The spike may work depending on the soil. If used for fencing, I would suggest doing cement base as if is a normal fence. I used mine as a divider so we used screws to anchor it on the composite floor.

I recently renovated my backyard. The contractor removed all the grass and installed stone interlocking with different sizes (17x12, 12x12 and 6x12). The stone thickness is 2.75". Can the post be anchored on the stone interlocking.

Asked by: Wati
We anchored ours onto a deck but I would imagine anchoring it onto brick would be equally as effective...We really like the ease with which we were able to install them and they look amazing!

Is there anywhere I can buy extra spacers? I’ve misplaced some and now can’t finish my privacy wall. I can’t be the only person that needs extra spacers!

Asked by: Outdoorsgal
I would check the their corporate website. The company is based out of Montreal, so if you are in Canada it should be easy to contact them and get what you need.
