Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love it, but needs higher quality structure Onto my Third now... The pipe structure just isn't strong enough, I'm trying the third in the least windiest spot I can find and see if that helps but winds haven't been strong at all. First Jack the cable let go and he toppled forward at the ankles, the support wire has no closure and it came loose. Second Jack I added a closure for the cable, and ziptied some rebar to the ankles and this time he went down at the knees, the connection on one leg and the existing bend on the second leg (more weak points) Would recommend adding additional supports to make sure it lasts the spooky season!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BUYER BEWARE - WEAK STRUCTURE **BUYER BEWARE** I purchased the 13ft Jack Skellington on Oct 11th 2023, set it up on the 21st. My family was ecstatic, he looked and sounded great and couldn’t wait for everyone else to see him in all his 13ft of glory and music. Last night he was in a crumpled mess on my front lawn. Structure collapsed from the connection point at the base. This is absolutely ridiculous for a product that cost $573 after tax. To put that into perspective, for the number of days (29) he was “standing”, it cost me almost $20 a day for it to turn into scrap metal on my lawn. I don’t believe I would be the only person to state that this is unacceptable and I can only hope that a replacement or compensation can be gained through the supplier.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flimsy, poorly constructed Poorly constructed. The base Jack stands on folded at the tack weld locations during the wind. This should have been welded better to hold the weight. I even took extra steps in securing him. I used the flimsy stakes provided and Aldo used 6 curved rebar stakes as well as sandbags. Horrible customer service when I called for a replacement. “Acts of nature” is not covered. I asked to purchase another stand and told no parts are sold separately by the manufacturer. For a $500 outdoor animatronics, this is absolutely the worst one. Cheaply made. I will not purchase Halloween products from them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WILL fall over! When I put this together we (the family) were ecstatic. Unfortunately, that soon changed with a very light breeze. I had the base leveled and weighed down with sand bags and the extremely weak metal still folded on itself and Jack was laying on the ground about a week after he was put up. The metal is extremely flimsy in the base and is not made to support him. I cannot find a replacement base anywhere either. They need to make some huge improvements to the base before they continue charging almost $600 for this thing. If the base was better the rating would have been much higher.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Jack! I want a sally, oogie, and Zero now too I bought this a month and a half ago, I live on a very windy mountain and he hasn't had any issues. We have 7 bricks holding him down just in case, but he seems super sturdy. Putting him together was super simple. I am hoping he stands up to the snow so I can put a Christmas hat on him and leave him out for Christmas. Any idea where I can find a long enough Santa suit for him. lol Feature idea; with the changing of the eyes, if you could add a chip or something into the eyes so the song changes to the sad/angry lament later in the movie.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible Welds. $400 GONE Paid $434 and the welding was done so bad that one afternoon while my neighbor was sitting out on her porch the welds snapped at the feet and it fell to the ground. Completely broken. Emailed several times with no response. Very upset. Though my 4 years old that is obsessed with Jack Skellington that earned money to buy this himself is devastated. Hoping the company makes it right.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Structure is horribly made, don’t buy Looks really cool when up but the quality/structure is not worth the money at all. In October it’s fell over part of the way on a barely windy day and we had to reinforce it with more wires and nailed it down. We put him back up for Christmas and again it’s only slightly windy and it fell all the way over. The base of him broke. This product says it can withstand rainy/windy weather and that you only need to worry if it’s “extreme” weather. A little wind is not extreme and the only excuse for it falling over is that it’s cheaply made.

And its legs can't even hold its own weight it seems Would be nice if they put a bit more thought into build quality and that weather happens

can he be up during winter as well as fall

Hi Hawkeyes, The Home Depot is correct. You can have Jack displayed during the winter, just watch out for winds, heavy snow, and temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. In any of those conditions, you should consider taking him inside or laying him down. Definitely take him down and bring him inside if it's too cold. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
