Rated 2 out of 5 by TestyLady from Dark! The description claims they use 80% less energy, and it certainly looks that way because these are the darkest Led C9 bulbs I've come across. There aren't that many stores selling Halloween lights this year, and it seems the larger varieties are already few and far between, with that in mind I decided to go with these for my roof. The color is a true orange, even though it looks borderline yellow when not lit. The number of lights is nice, it's a short distance between each bulb, and the length of the entire set is also good, but these lights are darker than a nightlight! I'm not sure if I'd recommend them, I wish there was an alternative, or at the very least the store had provided a test or display first.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Thehandofchaos from Dark and poor quality control These are not very bright lights compared to christmas LED's but they are still ok when it's dark, could be because you don't see orange LED's much for a reason, but they could be much brighter, I got these on sale for 19.99 and they are ok, 50 lights, 25 feet, decent price for that amount. however, I had to return a string, tested inside, take them out put clips on all of the bulbs and install, turn it on noly 1 of my 2 strings lit up, not a fuse issue or a bulb. so had to return them, get another set and test indoors again, and they were fine, put on clips (while they were on) and half way through they went out. not a fuse or a bulb. the string construction is aweful, one of the wires had pulled out, had to pull the bulb, figure out how to feed the wire back in and secure it. put on the rest of the clips and decided to stretch test the string, out it went again, check every connection, found several more that were not tight, found several others where the bulb was not in all the was and that would cause the whole string to go out without any real indicator aside from checking every bulb. the bulb friction holds each of the 2 wires that goes to the LED to keep it all together. So if you get these lights I will save you hours of frustration, check this to make sure they won't just go out on you, - Unscrew every bulb case, and push in every bulb solidly. - then pull the string in opposing directions from either side of each bulb to ensure solid connections - after all that have a friend hold on to the end of the string and then pull it taught, if everything stays lit you should be good to go But these are a terrible manufacture design and not very bright as others have stated. But they are also the only orange C9 bulb strings you can get. Happy Halloween!

3 bulbs into a string and the rest won’t work. Can I remove the last bulb and replace the one that doesn’t work?
