Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tree Perfect height for a standard height room with enough space for the topper. Tree looks quite full and more than enough lights. The needles are the flat papery kind but it actually looks quite nice because there are 2 shades of green giving the look a bit of dimension. I like the light tips are on clips so you can move them around a bit to perfect the light distribution, and I love the look of the traditional incandescent bulbs but are LED. I liked the idea of the colour changer but I’m disappointed with the coloured lights, they’re too bold, not traditional xmas coloured lights you’d expect, which are softer; and I wish there was a blinking/ twinkle setting instead of the wave which I find too distracting; so I don’t use anything other than the solid on warm white, which btw are the perfect warm white, not too yellow. I like the base just clicks open/ shut solidly and doesn’t use any bolts. Looks just great all set up and fluffed, and doesn’t look too fat triangle like the photo.

The lights are also disappointing and required buying 3 more strands to be bright, but you cannot get those same lights here. It is very bushy and full thus the 2 stars, if it wasn't such an ordeal to take it down and Re-box it though I would have returned it and will replace it next year.

Beautiful tree and separates easily, BUT the space from the floor to the bottom branches is about 18”!! It looks ridiculous. We packed it up and will be retuning it to Home Depot in the morning. Is there a plug for the tree-topper, or do I need to run a separate extension cord from the top of the tree?

I purchased this tree last year Xmas 2020 and could not be more  happier with what I got.  You do not need to run a separate extension for the top as they connect throughout the tree itself.  I hope this answers your question.

Hello Bmotyka27. The Home Accents Holiday 6.5 ft. Cliffside Scotch Pine Pre-Lit Tree with 300 Color-Changing SureBright LED Lights (TG66M2Z29D09) includes a wired, in-line light controller. There are several functions to choose from, one of those consisting of a combination of all functions. It may be possible that the function selected is the combo function. If you have tried cycling through the different functions & are still experiencing this issue, the tree may be set to DEMO mode. In order to deactivate DEMO mode, please hold down the inline controller button for 3-5 seconds. If the lights flash multicolor, that means the DEMO mode has been deactivated. If you are still experiencing any issues after trying this resolution, please contact our consumer care team at 888-919-0070 or 'warranty@polygroup.com'.

I love this tree and the multi option coloured built in lights. I would like to add a dimmer switch to the plug in to dim the lights sometimes. These are low voltage LED bulbs so most typical dimmer slider switches won’t work. Any suggestions?
