Rated 5 out of 5 by from He’s awesome! And TALL!!! He’s 7 feet from top of... He’s awesome! And TALL!!! He’s 7 feet from top of his head, his scythe is even taller. The sound is plenty loud for passerbyers, and it’s adjustable if it’s too loud. My kids love “Ted” from the dead. Only issue is if you put him on your front porch, when in motion-sensor mode, every car that passes by will set him off.

I’d recommend to anyone who has space for it…I set it up indoors; it’s my thing. Indoor use will definitely prolong the integrity of the piece and allow for use in years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great reaper with awesome motion. The item was impressive and functioned with no issues. The only kink found was in the screw that is supposed to hold the head to the “neck”. There’s no hole for the screw to go into and the screw ultimately served no functional use as it never truly attached nor held the metal to the neck insert. The head worked but it did spin a bit to far left or right and it’s probably due to the screw no properly attaching to the head’s metal insert bar.

Well, I suppose you could… I don’t think it will hurt anything; just a small amount of WD-40 usually works for situations akin to that which you’ve described. There’s probably a number of lubrication products that could do the trick. I dunno if it really matters. Obviously, it’s important for you though, so, give it a shot. Just be careful around the plastic areas…direct the flow of lubricant onto the mechanical joint.

I am using the sensor, but did you check the back of the control box. You have to select Step pad.
