One of the mirrors doesn’t close completely... the top magnet doesn’t catch. The metal frames are slightly different from each other. It’s a plain metal box with a mirror... not worth $300.

The quality is good, however the glass shelves in the cabinet wobble a bit, so you will need to apply some adhesive transparent rubber pads. This seems to do the trick and balances out the shelves.

Disappointed by several things: the storage box is quite small (16x20); 3 non-adjustable shelves were the only option; and cheap looking screw heads and screw head caps visible inside the box. Expensie for the features and finish, but at least it looks great from the outside.

What are the dimensions of the medicine cabinet itself? I know the mirror on the front is 22” x 30” but I’d like to know how much smaller the cabinet behind the mirror is

can this be installed recessed?

No... the mirror door will hit the wall if recessed more than an inch. Also there is no trim to head where wall would meet mirror.

On the side of box states “ Easy surface mount hanging system” with the photo of an individual screwing the unit from above.  There is nothing in the box except a bag with 4 small screws and anchors ? Am I missing the hanging system?

If open space between studs is 14.5", why is width of inside storage box 16"?

The mirror is bigger than the box, you wouldn't mount it in between studs, or it wouldn't open. It mounts outside the drywall
