Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cellular blind hits the mark The cellular blind fit the need completely. It was also easy to install on our door window. It is easy glide from bottom up and top down. The blind and rail colour is a near match to our other blinds in the room and were a fraction of the price. The only thing that I think would make it a five star is if it had a little handle on the bottom rail to move it up and down. Other than that; I recommend this item.

Can these be installed on a skylight? That is, will the blinds sag in the middle?

The shades comes with hold down brackets, which will hold the bottomrail in place. This should allow the shades to not sag in the middle.

Do these shades block UV light or just cut glare of the sun? I'm looking for shades that will allow a natural light. They also must have the ability to protect items in a display case from UV light damage. What do you suggest?

The cellular shades has UV Protection. We suggest to purchase the Day and Night Cellular Shades. It 2 shades in 1. You have the option for Light Filtering or Blackout to be exposed on the shade The blackout shades had a higher UV Protection and will also cut the glare on TVs.

What's the minimum vertical coverage on these blinds... how much can you scrunch them up to maximize visibility thru the window.

How are these blinds installed as an outside mount?  Is there some installation instructions for an outside mount, all I see is an inside mount?

There is installation instruction for outside mount. 1. Use a level to ensure all brackets are in alignment. 2. Measure 4" from both ends of the headrail and mark the bracket location on the mounting surface. 3. Hold the bracket against the wall. 4. Mark a line at every bracket location. 5. Make sure the lines are level with each other.

What does `Double headed' mean? And if it's cordless, what is the want (assume typo and it's wand) tilter?

.ca is undergoing maintenance, this is a new descriptive field randomly populated. It is meant to distinguish between single use (regular bottom up) and dual-use shades (top down bottom up). It should also not indicate wand is used for operation. Thank you

How are these blinds cleaned

The best way to clean cellular shades is by using the hose on the vacuum to clean the dust off the shades. Or you can use a damp cloth to lightly remove any dirt. Please make sure to not get the shade too wet.
