Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful for a short time There’s no denying that these blinds are beautiful. However, they don’t last over the long term. I loved them so much, I bought them for almost every window in my house. Admittedly, it’s been a few years now and I’ve had to fix they cords inside one. Now another isn’t going up and down right. I’ve tried to fix, but it’s still unreliable. Also, the white sheer is now dingy gray even after vacuuming. But the worst thing that I can’t fix is the sheer cells in my bathroom window, which get raised and lowered daily, are falling apart See photos. If you’re looking for a long term solution, don’t buy these. They aren’t cheap. If you can afford to replace every few years, then go for it.

Contacted manufacture and after 2 weeks of waiting they stated that there is nothing they can do and blamed heating. First time in my life have I had blinds warp due to heating. Which house / apartment does not have heating near windows ? Heater is 5 inches away from bottom of blinds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken blind shortly after install After a couple of months of use, The cord inside the blind snapped which meant we weren’t able to raise the blind. Not sure if it is a design flaw if we got a lemon but for the price, I expected it to last longer than it did!

My bedroom windows are 27" W by 55" L so my only option is the 27" W by 72" L which is 17 " too long. Will this work and look ok with this much excess? Thanks

Yes, this length will work just fine. The excess inches are collapsed down still giving your window a clean chic decor.

Does both light filtering and black out portion extends the full 72 inches? The images always shows it in half half mode.

Can you shorten the drop on these blinds?

The length of cellular shades can not be trimmed. If the length is cut, it will ruin the mechanism in the shade.

What width of string are these shades operated with? The string frayed and broke, and I need to buy replacement string.

Interested in this product; however, I was wondering how do you clean and maintain this product from dust and dirt.  Also, what is the longevity of the product.  Thank you.

Thank you for your question. The best way to clean cellular shades is by using the nozzle of the vacuum cleaner to remove any dust or dirt. You can also blot clean the shades with a damp cloth.Make sure to no get the shade too wet or you may ruin the shades.

The description says 68"x48", the specs say assembled width is 61"..? What is the max. width of window this shade can accommodate? Also, is there 48" of blackout coverage, or only 24 (half blackout and half filter?)?

I can confirm that the total maximum length could be nearly 96" if you fully extend both the sheer and blackout so that you have 48 top half light coming through and bottom 48 half black out (if you want to). This means you can have any combination of sheer/blackout each up to about 48 inches. Just so you know, the 48 inch length actually can cover a 50 inch length window either in sheer or blackout. For any window that is 30 or larger in length (it takes 5 inches on top when fully retracted), this dual sheer/blackout feature is awesome. Only time will tell if the mechanism or fabric will last, otherwise, this is a great shade.
