can I mount this on French door windows or will they flap when door is opened/closed. Do they have a mounting to secure bottom?

The blinds come with hold down brackets that will prevent the blinds from flapping with the door.

how much room should I allow on either side of the blind so it doesnt bind on the casing

If my window opening is 46.5 inches what size width should I order? Are the “assembled widths” accurate? If I get 46” width, will there be enough space to mount or should I order 45.5”?

Are you able to push/ pull blinds up and down to be able to open windows?

How are you supposed to open a window if the blinds don’t go up or down anymore?

The blinds can be lifted by hand but they will not remain in that position. There is no lift mechanism to hold the blind lifted up.
