Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very many fern and sleek. Bought these a couple of weeks ago after reading the reviews about how bright they are. I had them installed today and all I can say is, your impression of bright and mine must be vastly different. They look beautiful but are no brighter than the old light fixtures that I had removed because they didn’t give enough light on the stairs. So after the cost of the lights, and the electrician to install them, I’ve ended up with the same amount of light.

Is this suitable for a bathroom, as two sconces on either side of the mirror above the vanity? What happens when the LEDs burn out?

Good day, Yes, it can be put in bathroom on either side of the mirror. If the LED's are Burnt out, the whole fixture has to be replaced, since its integrated LED fixture does not have any bulbs in it & glows by means of a Diode.
