They are the perfect weight for us, we didn't want to block all the light but they do a good job blocking bright sun. I washed them and hung to dry, put them on low heat in the dryer for a couple minutes, and they were ready to hang, no ironing needed! I bought six panels (for two windows) and they were all the same length. That seems like a small thing but I returned curtains from other shops because the length varied so much.
