Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice - looks fantastic We are very happy with our purchase and installation went fairly well. The planks are a rich honey brown color with a bit of a texture which feels good on the feet. We did a small bathroom, long hallway, front hallway, and 7 stairs with the Blossomfield stair nosing. A lot of patience is required but once you get the hang of the boards locking into place the job goes well. We used a laminate puller and tapping block which helped and Roberts brown putty to hide some of the seams around door frames etc. We have done a lot of different flooring over the years and the end result is satisfying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to cut and quick to install Got a good deal on this product. Gave myself time at the start of installation to get the hang of it, then it all snapped into place easily. The trick is to place the long edge in the groove and hold the plank at about a 30 degree angle to the floor then it slides easy to make good contact with the but end of the plank previously placed. Sometimes I had to use a rubber mallet to perfect the "long" joint. To prevent damage of the exposed edge I snapped a one inch wide by six inch long piece of plank "cut-off" into the edge and put a six inch one by two block of wood against it and "hit" it. Bingo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy the tapping block and rubber mallet Easy to install with just a exacto knife and large framing square and pencil. May need a jigsaw for the air vents too. Save yourself the hassle and buy a rubber mallet and the laminate flooring tapping block. It really needs to be beaten into submission but once clicked it’ll never come undone without taking the whole floor apart. This is not your standard click lock! Very nice smooth finish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we wanted Really great flooring. Very refreshing to see wood coloured wood these days, not grey like everything else out there. We chose this to give a warm, rich, and retro feel to the place, which it really does. Looks and feels more red in person, versus dark brown as it tends to photograph. As long as you’re careful, no scratching issues like others have written about. Any marks left (from us moving a bed without furniture pads, our fault!) were easily “buffed out” with a sleeve moving in circular motions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality 'budget' LVP flooring We installed this vinyl plank flooring to ready our house for sale. We chose it because it made sense cost wise and was the right colour. The finished flooring looks awesome. The product was fairly easy to install and the quality/consistency of the product were very good. There's a good mix of designs on the boards, but be sure to sort through the boxes to avoid placing identical planks together. Initially I used a chop saw to size the boards, but the vinyl shavings made a mess. I switched to using a sharp utility knife to score the wear surface and snap the board (easy to do) and a jigsaw to cut the floor register openings. Also - make sure to level and clean your sub-floor as the planks are thinner than other higher cost LVF options. We've used the flooring for 2 months now and it seems to wear well under light traffic. Advice: The flooring can score if you slide heavy furniture on it. I suggest you use those stick-on pads from the dollar store to give the floor added protection.

Does the underlay that comes with this product have a sound rating of 60 decibels or higher? We live in a condo and need that for the rules of the building. Will this work or should we also buy underlay separately?

The product says not to use rubber-backed doormats. Can I use vinyl, gel or polypropylene backed doormats? I am having a difficult time finding non-staining mats as indicated in the warranty/installation guide paperwork.

Would this be suitable for an outdoor pool change room with no heating or cooling? I see the instructions say the installation temperature but will the product hold up in Canadian winters (zero traffic in the winter though)

Thanks for your question. This product is only warrantied to be installed in climate controlled areas that are kept between 50°F and 100°F at all times. If the planks get too cold, they will contract and gap. It can even break the tongue and groove.

Has anyone else purchased this flooring? I bought 21 boxes and was planning on 20 more to finish the job. Even though the flooring looks beautiful..it is the most difficult vinyl plank flooring I have ever installed. Info says "easy dropand lock joints".

Yes I have installed it. You would be better off spending upfront money on wood than the time it takes to install this flooring. This is the 47th floor I have installed and by far the least user friendly. This is a terrible system and the planks break very easily. NOT DIY friendly. During Covid I had no helpers so I had to do it myself. Never has an 8 hour job taken 4 days before.

I want to install on a ceramic floor. The grout lines are narrow (1/8in) and the floor is very flat and solidly in place. Do I need to install an underlay ? Thanks.

To ensure that your tiles never crack just ensure that the wood you are putting them on is 3/4 inch thick then you may not require an underlay, after setting in place before the grout try not to walk on them for 24 hrs. I would also use a level on your floor to make sure it is indeed flat.
