Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful, however some issues. We bought this about a week ago. Install was easy. Beautiful looking piece. Unfortunately after only installing 3 days ago, we are already seeing water damage to the top left hand side drawer. This in my opinion should not happen after 3 days of use. Again, only three days of regular usage (hand washing). Additionally, as others have mentioned the drawers on our unit are also difficult to open.

I was so pleased with it….until I actually used it for the first time . The counter top looks great until it is used. It does not allow you to remove water spots, even when wiped immediately! It appears as though the water actually takes the finish off. I am so disappointed !

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Value In 46 years of home ownership this is the worst vanity ever! The display in the store is up high so can’t actually try it out. Looks like there are 6 drawers, but bottom 2 handles are really just 1 deep useless drawer. The slow close is awful, drawers very hard to pull out and you have to push hard to close them. The worst part is that the countertop is extremely poor quality. After less than a year of use it looks like it’s 20 years old. Every splash, glass, spray or spill damages the surface. I’ve never seen this before. What’s the point in not being able to use water or any personal hygiene product without damaging the surface. This vanity is a total waste of money and is embarrassing to have in my home. DO NOT BUY!!

I bought this vanity few days ago and it is installed now! unfortunately my contractor did not ask me B4 installing otherwise I had the plan of returning it to Home Depot. This is a useless product nothing except an out side beautiful look. They had it on display at Eglinton HD Branch up high on the counter therefore after even visiting two three time couldn't figure out that the sink is also too small none of our choice of faucets work on it. Counter top looks beautiful but gives you plastic feel when you use. Important thing there is not enough space underneath the vanity for the plumbing etc. Total waste of $1,015.00. So sad to waste that much money on a very tight piece of WOOD!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Attractive Vanity with Issues Bought many months ago but only now installed and in use. The vanity is attractive and has lots of drawer and cupboard space. However, as other reviewers have said, the drawers soft close mechanism could have been better. It is difficult to pull drawers open and when doing that or pushing them to engage the soft close are also very clunky and noisy. This I have come to live with, but the biggest disappointment is with the vanity top. Literally anything with the exception of clean water stains the top. A bottle with some vinegar reside on it left a ring on the countertop and an attempt to clean it with Vim Bathroom Cleaner totally stained the top. Then, a dab of shaving cream from my razor dropped onto the top and when wiped away also left a stain. Come on please! This is a bathroom vanity and the top should be far more resistant to stains. My vanity has only comes into contact with tooth paste and shaving cream. I can't begin to imagine how it would fair against makeups, perfumes, polishes and removers....I do not know how to get these rings and stain out and am afraid to use anything on it for fear of making it worse.

How does this come in the package? I know it's preassembled but does it come in one piece or is the heavy counter seperate?

Hi Aoife. The vanity cabinet and top comes in the box all as one-piece; the only piece that requires installation is the backsplash.

I purchased the Ellia 48-inch vanity with the Carrera Top and I accidentally spilled vinegar on the top surface which removed the gloss finish. Is there anything I can use to restore/repair the countertop?

Is the finish width of the product 48" or is there a slight overhang? Also, if I pick up can it be put in my vehicle in 2 pcs, with the top taken off already?

I’m sorry I can’t tell you about the size as i am not at the same location now but I can tell you that it comes assembled so it’s all in one piece with the top attached. Delivery is a good option.

It weighs 231lbs which is heavy when dropped at your driveway. Is the top separate from the base to make moving easier or already glued. Thanks

Hi Melvyn. The vanity top can actually be removed for easier transportation/installation, by unscrewing the wood cleats holding the vanity top/sink to the cabinet. We hope this helps!
