Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but Painful This fan is very sleek (although the marks on the glass are a strange choice) and one of they few fully black options out there. However, it was incredibly painful to put together. It is nearly impossible to fit all of the wires and the remote receiver into the mounted piece. The remote only works half the time, and I often have to turn the light off and on a few times before I can get the dimmer or fan settings to change, but there’s no way we could risk opening it up again with how much of a struggle it was to put together the first time. If other black fans become available, I’d explore other options.

Now that I have taken occupancy of my house and have been sleeping with the fan on low for the past WEEK, it started to malfunction. The fan will not stay on in LOW or MEDIUM, ONLY HIGH. I turned on the lights, and they shut off within 2 minutes. Not impressed, have seen the other reviews regarding the same issue, have already emailed the supplied email address as indicated in previous reviews with issues. Not impressed at all, especially when my ceiling fan in my old residence has been running NONSTOP FOR 23 YEARS!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE Would give it 0 along with the customer service. Had it about 4 months and the remote/receiver stopped working… called customer service, no help. Called back again, same result not willing to send a new remote said maybe it’s the receiver and they will call back with more info. Never called back. Now, we’ve had it just under 2 years, just suffered thru using it the entire time without turning the fan off or changing the speed it was stuck on… now the entire thing doesn’t work. No light, no fan. Nothing. Called customer service about 6 times total since we’ve had it with ZERO help. Now we have an expensive ceiling ornament. Save your money and buy something else.

Might as well have the switch on the downrod, just as effective. Changed all the settings on the remote as well and you guessed it, no change in performance or distance. Call in and talk to Home Depot support, 6 weeks (not 7-10 days as I was told) later I get a new remote and receiver combo.... same result. Still garbage. Save your $ and your blood pressure, buy something else.... the trouble is this is the only light that is remotely decent looking on this whole website... keep looking... and good luck with the search... For $240.00 Get a ladder out and stand

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not Worth The Price I purchased my first one in September 2019 and it lasted about 4 months before the remote or receiver stopped working and we couldn't turn the light on or change the fan settings. Home Depot was great and gave me a refund so I bought another one however after installing it as per the instructions it wobbled even on slow. I purchased a different fan and had no problems with it. I returned this one as well. I had no problems returning it Home Depot was great about the return as well.

Can I wire the light to a switch instead using the remote?  I will still use the remote for the fan.

How do you change the blade direction rotation on the fan? It appears to be rotating whereby the air is being pushed upwards. It says the motor is reversible. How? Or do the blades physically need to be flipped? Thx.
