Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good choice - looks fantastic We are very happy with our purchase and installation went fairly well. The planks are a rich honey brown color with a bit of a texture which feels good on the feet. We did a small bathroom, long hallway, front hallway, and 7 stairs with the Blossomfield stair nosing. A lot of patience is required but once you get the hang of the boards locking into place the job goes well. We used a laminate puller and tapping block which helped and Roberts brown putty to hide some of the seams around door frames etc. We have done a lot of different flooring over the years and the end result is satisfying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to cut and quick to install Got a good deal on this product. Gave myself time at the start of installation to get the hang of it, then it all snapped into place easily. The trick is to place the long edge in the groove and hold the plank at about a 30 degree angle to the floor then it slides easy to make good contact with the but end of the plank previously placed. Sometimes I had to use a rubber mallet to perfect the "long" joint. To prevent damage of the exposed edge I snapped a one inch wide by six inch long piece of plank "cut-off" into the edge and put a six inch one by two block of wood against it and "hit" it. Bingo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we wanted Really great flooring. Very refreshing to see wood coloured wood these days, not grey like everything else out there. We chose this to give a warm, rich, and retro feel to the place, which it really does. Looks and feels more red in person, versus dark brown as it tends to photograph. As long as you’re careful, no scratching issues like others have written about. Any marks left (from us moving a bed without furniture pads, our fault!) were easily “buffed out” with a sleeve moving in circular motions.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice floor I love the flooring. It is easy to install and clean. My only complaint is that although the flooring is supposed to be scratch resistant, it scratches quite easily I’ve just installed 1000 sq feet soooo.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality 'budget' LVP flooring We installed this vinyl plank flooring to ready our house for sale. We chose it because it made sense cost wise and was the right colour. The finished flooring looks awesome. The product was fairly easy to install and the quality/consistency of the product were very good. There's a good mix of designs on the boards, but be sure to sort through the boxes to avoid placing identical planks together. Initially I used a chop saw to size the boards, but the vinyl shavings made a mess. I switched to using a sharp utility knife to score the wear surface and snap the board (easy to do) and a jigsaw to cut the floor register openings. Also - make sure to level and clean your sub-floor as the planks are thinner than other higher cost LVF options. We've used the flooring for 2 months now and it seems to wear well under light traffic. Advice: The flooring can score if you slide heavy furniture on it. I suggest you use those stick-on pads from the dollar store to give the floor added protection.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from SPECIAL TOOL NEEDED FOR VINYL PLANKS It seems to work better to wiggle the new plank up and down several times to get the planks to fit together, than just brute force. But it would be nice if Home Depot also sold the special installing tool that I saw on YouTube, so I had to make one myself. It is a tool that hooks onto the flange of the plank on the one end, and then on the other end is a lip up to hit with a hammer to get the planks to lock in together nice and tight. The vinyl planks are much thinner than the laminated ones and the lips are also much bigger on thicker laminate planks. Therefore the laminated planks would go together much easier. The vinyl planks are a little tricky to get to fit nice and tight!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wasn't what I thought Despite what the description stated. This flooring will scratch. I had originally took a key to a sample and tried to scratch the surface. Surprisingly enough it held up. However after laying the flooring down in our kitchen. A piece of small gravel was imbedded in a cardboard box bottom and was dragged across the floor leaving a gouch in the surface of the floor. Nobody's fault but my own. But shows that it will scratch so caution needs to be used. But it looks good. Going to try to replace the one piece that is bad and some others that are faint will attempt to colour them in. But will not use this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is tough! This flooring is tough! It is very hard to scratch, unlike eight other types that we tried, using a key.

What type of sealant should be used to seal the joint of the horizontal surface of the plank and the vertical surface of an acrylic shower base?

Asked by: kees
I have not had this installed in a situation as you describe, but I have had vinyl planks installed in a bathroom up against a tub, and the sealant used by the installer was silicone. I would think that would work for your situation but I am not an expert by any means.

can i also glue this down?

Asked by: Dave
Thank you for your question. This product is a floating floor. Installing with nails or glue will void the warranty.

We have unfortunately managed to scratch this floor moving the fridge. It's not a deep scratch, but it does show. Is there anything we can do to fix it?

Asked by: Julie
Thanks for your question. If the scratch is only in the wear layer (you cannot see black or white) you can use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to fill in the wear layer. If it's deeper, the only real fix is a plank replacement. You can see a tutorial video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhNqgHCJFOs

When the floor planks are placed together is there a bevel between planks for a more natural wood floor look?

Asked by: GardenAngel
The boards fit nice and tight together so as not to leave a gap for water and dirt to settle in. To get the boards to fit this way it usually only requires wiggling the boards up and down on the side that is farthest away from the already laid down boards, and pulling them together. You can buy a special S shaped tool to hook onto the lip of the boards and to hit the other end with the happer-but usually wiggling the boards into place does the job!
