Side doors can't fit anything wider than 5". Permanent shelf in center opening makes it difficult to store because of sink trap. Wish i could of seen it in person before I purchased, I wouldn't of bought it. My 36" had twice the usable space for 1/3rd. of the price!

So that being said why just glue sink to marble. I had to purchase sink clamps and epoxy them to marble top just in case sink would become separated. Good thing I read more reviews and saw the problems people were having.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect half bath vanity! This vanity was the perfect fit to replace my pedestal sink in my half bath. The recessed front aligns exactly with the door frame, allowing the protruding front to make a nice statement. Absolutely beautiful. Previous reviews complained about the sink not being secured, bit upon inspection, this one was secured with screws and glue. Note - you will need to notch out baseboards to place flat against the wall.

It seems to be well made and the finish is nice. The carrara marble top is very nice. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the 2 side openings are pretty narrow. The right side is a door that goes all the way to the top and does not have the drawer like the left side. It would be nice to have a drawer on each side, but this is just personal preference. The web site did make the measurements clear. You also need to make sure you purchase a wide 8 inch spread faucet.

If you need something to give you a bit more counter space, but maybe have a door that gets in the way, then this vanity can do the trick ~ it's amazingly well packaged! The kids will have plenty of cardboard to make a house with, and it fits in perfectly into a space that would have normally only allowed for a 36 inch vanity, but as the sides taper back the door can swing without hitting it. I recommend looking carefully at the measurements and taping it out on the floor if your worried about a tight fit.

Does the RIGHT side of the cabinet have a permanent shelf or can it be removed?

It comes with the  shelf  held by L brackets with screws in one fixed position. It looks like you could remove it.

This cabinet uses "Time And Relative Dimension In Space" technology aka - Tardis and actually contains a full 3 bedroom bungalow with a surprisingly nice garden. Note that being Tardis Technology - it may or not be there when you look.

Even though the back is open, you may still need to cut to get your pipes to fit properly. We did indeed cut from the depth of the shelf to get this vanity to work.
