These curtains were barely even room darkening let alone blackout. They are simply a material curtain with no backing to prevent light penetrating. The product looks fine and had they not engaged in false advertising may very well have earned four stars.

These were a tad too long and they needed to be hemmed but at least they were long enough. Unfortunately, I didn't read the description carefully enough. They are room "darkening" but not completely light blocking so they are not true black out and since they are light in colour the room does not get truly dark.
