I have 4 ceiling fans at home that makes loud humming noise with minimum amount of air flow. What a difference! I installed myself and I realized that it is well engineered/designed fan. Love the different installation options (I chose close-to-ceiling option). At high speed it makes some minimal noise but mostly the wind noise. At medium and low, it is hard to hear any noise yet it gives ample amount of air flow. Also it does not wobble at all. What else do you need?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade fell off & imbalanced caused ceiling damage I bought this ceiling fan, followed all the instructions installing it, and about 1.5 weeks after installing it one of the ceiling fan blades flew off. Thankfully no one (including my children) was in the room at the time. I heard it from across the house but thought it was just one of the kids toys falling off a shelf. I went into the room about 10 minutes later and the fan was shaking, completely off balance. I turned it off immediately and the imbalance of the fan caused ceiling damage and the ceiling mount box is ruined. Not really quite sure what I am going to do about it. I have contacted HD so we will see how they deal with this. It's unfortunate because we really liked the fan!

It is visually pleasing, and provides a lot of air flow. The motor is also very quiet. It was a relatively easy fan to install, and I saved a lot of time with the blades click-in system. With its price point and quality, this fan is an excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it to home owners on a budget that appreciate quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from poor lighting This ceiling fan/light looks lovely and is the right size for my small kitchen and we like the close to ceiling mount. All good. However, the light emitted is very poor. It is not very bright and the light from the required CFL bulbs is a ghastly blue that destroys the colour of my cabinets. Is it possible to get a glass vase that is not frosted, so more light comes through? And are there white or yellow CFL bulbs?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy quick install, well made. After thoroughly reading through all the instructions first, we installed this fan in 45 minutes. We chose the close-to-ceiling mounting option. I disagree with other reviewer who commented on "having to disassemble and reassemble parts." The mounting bracket is located inside the canopy and trim ring, and a rubber gasket has to be removed from a parts bag. This involved having to unscrew 5 screws and remounting them. I feel this is due largely to reduce the overall size of the packaging. Having a hook on the mounting bracket to hold the fan-motor assembly while completing the electrical connections is a real time-saver, plus it's like having a third hand! Fan works great, is super quiet even on the high speed setting, and looks very modern. I would have rated it 5 stars, except the 2 LED lamps described as being included were not included.

Is this fan acceptable for a 136 sq ft bedroom?

Thank you for your question. This fan is designed for use in room sizes of 10ft x 10 ft or less. While the fan may be acceptable of your space, you may want to consider a slightly larger 48" fan.

Hi, I have a few questions concerning this fan: - Can this fan be controlled by a wall outlet? I do not need to control the speed. Can the wall outlet reversed the fan? - Can this fan be controlled by a remote control? If so, which model can be used?

I bought 3 of these fans for our cabin. They all run from wall switches (light is on one switch, the fan on another switch). The direction of the fan turning and the speed of the fan are controlled by 2 pull chains. Works for me. The light is not great, need bedside lights, but the fans are excellent and recommend this product.

The overview says it comes with two 9.5w led bulbs, but the specs say one 60w led. Which is it? Reviews indicate poor lighting. Can something greater than 60w be used (or greater than 9.5)? Is this fan very quiet?

Fan is super quiet…. We live it gives off amazing air circulation… now when it comes to the bulbs I dont remember what it came with and if we used that or changed it but I do believe we changed it… the lighting isn’t super bright but we didn’t really buy it for that reason… maybe updated it with different type of bulbs would help… not sure what is allowed but a sales associate if u called would be able to tell u

Is it possible to replace my existing light fixture with this fan? If so, do I need an additional fan switch or can I control the fan/light on/off with the pull chains?

Thank you for your question. Most likely yes. The only factor would be the outlet box. If you are replacing a light fixture on the ceiling, you will need to make sure that the outlet box is rated for ceiling fan support - it should be clearly marked "acceptable for fan support". The fan is controlled with the included pul chains, bu t can be wired to separate switches for fan speed and light control if desired.
