The bed arrived earlier than expected, the corner of the package was torn which may have caused the dent in the headboard, it took me sometime to unbend and slide the foot piece in it, manufacturer need to do a better job in packaging, the bed came with good instructions to assemble, quality is outstanding for the low price paid for, this is a solid bed and doesn’t squeak or rattle, you still need slats if you don’t want your mattress to sink in. I bought this for my daughter and she loves it. I highly recommend it.

Called HD, but they could only refer me to the manufacture in China. I emailed them for assembly instructions. They replied back ONE WEEK later. Had already figured it out by then. Be came with about a million screws and bolts and I had to figure it out on my own. I should give 1 star, but the bed is nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it was not dented at all. i did get help which was way easier. but it was pretty much easy. took about 1-2 hrs. but with my mattress and box spring the footboard is covered, which i was bummed about because i really liked it. but other than that it’s fine.

You will need to purchase the base separately, I opted to just use cheap plywood since my mattress is comfy enough. The only reason im rating lower is to set a realistic expectation lol
