Rated 5 out of 5 by from Honeywell Portable Heater I purchased the portable heater to heat the double garage in my townhome, and I was impressed by how much heat the unit was able to put out. Probably the best bang for your buck without moving to an industrial grade unit. That said, I live in Metro Vancouver, and the temperature doesn't dip below freezing very often. I haven't had the ability to test the unit in an unheated space at -20 C, so I am curious of how well the portable heater unit will perform. I have and currently own Honeywell products, and have been satisfied with their products to date, and the portable heater is no exception. I would definately recommend purchasing this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall, great product I bought this heater to add a little extra warmth to our room before bedtime. If you need it to heat up a small space like a bedroom it will definitely do the trick. I recommend closing any adjoining doors to help speed up the process. Its super lightweight and easy to use. Be careful when touching anywhere except the carrying handle as the heating area gets really hot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good heaing power, but poor quality cord. This heater has great power with the surround heat feature...it really heats up a room. However, I only gave it a 3 because the cord is very flimsy at the joint of the heater (where the cord and heater connect) and every time I move the heater, it rips a little. I've only had it for a few months and the copper wire at the joint is already showing through the cord. It has no support there. So I'm going to have to tape it up with electrical tape, and that makes it dangerous. Having said that...I use the heater almost 24/7, so after 6 months it still works well.

need to heat an enclosed balcony to defrost windows there is no other heat source to the are will this do the trick

Heard it's 1500W-2000W but I could be wrong. Pretty important info for an "energy efficient" heater I find. Maybe the seller should add it.

I live in my RV (33 ft) and we are experiencing an early cold here. I need to heat at least 20 ft (160 sf). Is this one that will do that.
