Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect lightweight vacuum I have fell in love with this vacuum. When I opened the box it was lightweight and assembly was very easy. The vacuum was easy to use also. The vacuum is perfect for hardwood floors my house is 75% hardwood and 25% carpet. What makes this vacuum great would be that you can take the handle off and make it a handheld vacuum. You can use the attachment that come with the vacuum to clean in corners and your blinds. I have a very active two year old so this vacuum is an great addition to my home to help me clean up the mess that my two year old makes. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a multi functional vacuum!

I have never written such a strong review before, but this sweeper is so bad, I hope no one else goes through the frustration I have with it. The primary area of frustration is that it does not have any suction...I have to vacuum and revacuum the same area several times before I get all the crumbs picked up. We don't have kids - just two adults - so there is not a lot of mess or even use. And I follow the instructions about cleaning the filter often. Also, when i finally finish sweeping, and turn off the machine, crumbs come out and I have to resweep that area of the floor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but mighty! Originally I thought the vacuum head was regular sized, but it is much smaller. Which is great for those tight spaces, and has such manoeuvrability. It is very light weight. Battery charges fast and I can get 2 runs of my house before needing to charge again. Way better and quicker than using a broom! Super easy and touch-free emptying, and even cleaning the filter is a breeze! The only thing that is taking a bit of getting used to is the location of the toggle button. I keep accidently pressing it when moving the vacuum or storing it just because the handle seems to be where you naturally want to grab it. Overall, very impressed and happy with my purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brush roll stopped spinning I really enjoyed this vacuum for its ease of use, lightweight style and relatively good battery life. It does the job on my hardwoods and I also used it for pet hair on my couch. However, I've owned it less than 2 years and the brush roll has stopped spinning; basically rendering the vacuum useless. I keep it very clean, always cutting the hair out of the roll to prevent jams. I looked at the belt and it is intact but it won't spin. I've been having an incredibly difficult time finding a replacement for the belt (if that is even the issue), let alone knowing how to replace it myself..unfortunately wouldn't recommend to others and will probably be purchasing a new vacuum.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy with Impulse Hauling out my full-size vacuum was an impediment to daily vacuuming, now I vacuum every day with my Impulse. Battery power lasts long enough for me to vacuum my downstairs and upstairs, about 1,500 sqft. It is light weight and very maneuverable. Picking up debris is much better during forward motion than backward, in fact, I am suprised that it won't pick up small pieces when moving backwards. Emptying the debris container is easy but getting dust out of the nooks and crannies more challenging, but I am meticulous about it. Overall, I am very happy with my Impulse, my floors are cleaner, there's much less pet hair and dust than before I used it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I bought this about a year ago, when I moved into a new home with laminate floors. I wanted a vaccuum that was easy to maneuver for daily clean ups. It was garbage for handling cat litter that gets tracked around the house, but I figured it would help with dust etc at least. I wash the filter regularly, and have have followed upkeep instructions, but the container for the debris and filter have not reliably stayed clipped on the vacuum -- it falls off every time I try to use it, creating a bigger mess than I began with. This has been happening consistently for months. I'm fed up, this was a waste of money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bad Design I've had this Impulse stick vac for 6 weeks and am really tired of the way you have dig the dirt and dust that clogs behind the entrance to the dust cup and then get a spring-claw grabber tool to unclog the pipe near the roller head part! It's just real hassle. Also, it's very loud! A high-pitched whine that's hard on the ears and is closer to your ears because the motor is up at the top of the stick! When it's clogged, it's useless- no suction at all! But that's going to happen all the time- especially if you have any fur bearing pets! I say don't bother! I bought this on the strength of the brand- Hoover has been around a long time and used to make quality products.

It's good, does the job but occasionally it looses the vacuumed lint. I like that you can disconnect the top part and vacuum counters or sofa with attachments that were included with the vacuum. What I don't care about is that it is kind of cumbersome and it can't stand on it's own. Yes, it comes with a wall mount but I don't want to hang it on the wall. What happens when the vacuum stops working and then I'll end up with screw holes in the wall? Sorry that we have to think that way these days as nothing last for very long time

How long will the vacuum run on a full battery charge?

Yes, it's safe for laminate. I have used it with no issues. You can find a different product that would clean better, however.
