Rated 1 out of 5 by from Keeps leaking first time use I've used this on my sectional, and the carpets upstairs and especially with doing upholstery or stairs the machine leaks pretty bad. Had to put a thick towel on base to soak up the water coming out of the bottom. Also wish it sucked the water better you have to go extremely slow when sucking the water out of the furniture or carpets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loyal for Life I use my steam cleaner often. This is my second Hoover steam cleaner. I really like this machine and believe the brand is quality. There are two areas in which I'm not completely pleased. You have to press the power foot pedal prior to reclining the machine because it's a short pedal once reclined and I have small feet so I'm not certain how people with large feet find it. Secondly the attachment hose takes some getting used to and I find it difficult to secure. Possibly this will become easier with practice. Otherwise this is a great machine. Overall very pleased. By word of mouth I have sold over 20 Hoover steam cleaners. Cleaning homes one by one. Doing my part to make this world a little bit cleaner. I've owned the leading competitor in past and would never buy a steam cleaner other than Hoover.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Maybe It is too early to say. One doesn't clean their carpets everyday like they do vacuum cleaners. I have a Hoover vacuum cleaner. It is cyclonic.I am happy with its power but not with its dirt cup. The lid of the dirt cup snapped off and not through any carelessness of our own. It is impossible to replace this dirt cup (long version) because of the availability of the part. As for the carpet cleaner, time will tell. If there is a weak point in the cleaner I have yet to find out. i know the first day I opened the box and assembled the cleaner the upper container which would contain clean water and shampoo would not click shut and it kept falling off the cleaner. I would not be happy if this happened while in operation. However the customer support team replaced the upper container and everything works well. The cleaner is powerful and does a great job. I thank you.

does this come with the hose to do stairs and if so how long is it.

can it be used as vacuum cleaner also, if needed ?

Hi Muhammad! Thank you for your question. No, carpet washers cannot be used as a regular vacuum. Carpet washers deep clean carpets with water and formula to extract dirt and stains that vacuums can’t pick up. Regular vacuuming is still required. Thanks, The Hoover Team
