Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just got her last Friday! We bought this model last Friday after looking for a replacement for our Kenmore vacuum that the agitator was used and has been around for 15 years. We looked at Dyson (Very expensive) and we got this Hoover for about $170.00. It is super easy to assemble, one screw to fix the handle and you are running in five minutes. It is the only vacuum that has a power cord that rewinds (finally, it is always a pain to pickup power cords all the time). We used it for the first time and could not believe the amount of dirt it picked up! Has great suction and it is lighter that our present vacuum cleaner. The only thing that we find is that it is quite loud, but on the other hand, you cannot have great suction with a tiny motor that would be half as loud! I will return and give a six month update, until now it is a great purchase!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pet tool fails I bought this 6 months ago. Pet tool stopped spinning properly in 3 months. We have cleaned. Seems like the suction is maybe diminished?? Also does not work well on floors. Only picks up dust hair. Would not pick up small bits of hard cat food or anything heavier than dust and hair. It does seem to work better on carpets and clean them ok. But over all not satisfied. Has warranty but they won't cover the issues I am having. Had to pay for new pet brush at $55 by the time I paid taxes and shipped. Have to say love my old shark navigator. Have to go back to it. Thought I'd try this based on good reviews but ... a little disappointed. purchased at Canadiantire.

I would pass over a spot multiple times with the less than effective "power head" attachment. It would take far too much time to do one carpeted room and forget area rugs! After months of frustration (and trying to figure out what attachment to use) I went online and found this Hoover upright and in retrospect I would have paid $1000. Out of the box and together in less than 5 minutes; all tools within reach ON the vacuum. I went immediately to the carpet that had been vacuumed at least 2 x a week and with ONE pass the Hoover pulled up "stuff" that I'm sure was in the carpet well before I moved in a year ago! To say I'm impressed is an understatement. 1/6th of the price of the Dyson (I did give it away since it, I'm sure, was ashamed of itself as it sat in the closet). 1000 to 1 times better! Hoover, thank you for a glimmer of hope in an otherwise cr@pt@st!c 2020!

The turbine hand tool stop working, also noticed the suction had diminished and suddenly it just stop working. It's not a god product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from VERY noisy, but does the job I bought this in December after our previous Windtunnel died. I hesitated about buying this Pet version, because the old one was so good, but I have 2 cats so decided to try it out. The vacuum does a good job of vacuuming, but this model has a couple of issues when I compare it to the previous one we had. Firstly it has a wind up cord, which is great, but the cord is shorter and I now have to move the plug from room to room, which I didn't have to do before, but that's no big problem- just an irritant. The cone shaped thing in the vacuum canister constantly clogs and I have to pull the fuzz off the end of the cone shaped thing every time I use it. The vacuum hose is either way stiffer or way shorter than the old one I had. With this one, if I want to vacuum the top back of the couch where the cats love to sleep, I have to pull the couch out from the wall and vacuum from behind the couch because the hose is too short to reach it with the vacuum in front of the couch and the vacuum constantly tips forward. (Another reviewer commented on this and I ignored it). To adjust the vacuum from hard surface floors to carpet you have to bend down and turn a dial every time. With the old one you just pushed a pedal. The dial jiggles around from one floor setting to another when vacuuming which makes me wonder if the dial even does anything. This vacuum is also very loud and sounds dreadful - like it's in its death throes. Once, when I turned it on I saw sparks at the on/off button. It hasn't happened again though. So all in all this vacuum does the job, but there are so many other things I find cheap and irritating about it that I would not recommend it. There are better Hoover vacuums out there.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliable, good machine. Recommeded Early days yet, but very efficient and great suction. My previous model lasted over 10 years, so hoping this one gives as good service. The handle is more lightweight on this model, I preferred the more solid, robust one on the older one and the position of the power switch - just a matter of habit I suppose. I run an in home dog boarding business, so this vac gets a solid challenging workout more often than most!
