We live 2 1/2 hours to the nearest Home Depot (Thunder Bay, ON), and I had a friend pick it up for us. We had the entire fan installed and as we were attaching the light fixture, noticed that it wasn't what we thought we were getting. The description states it comes with the bulbs and a remote. There are no bulbs and there is NO remote. We specifically wanted this one because it states there IS a remote. Very disappointed and we were not about to take it down and drive over 200 kms to return it.

Un packing and identifying all the parts and pieces was easy. My husband and I put it up and it didn't take but an hour! The only problem was it says on the web site that the light bulbs come with it but they do not. If you order on line you need to get ahold of store manager to have him/her send them to you at no charge. If you buy in store let manager know so it can be viewed on line.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NO BULBS; NO quick install, NOT impressed YIKES. I can’t believe I spent over $200 on this. What a disappointment. The ceiling fan is supposed to come with bulbs; it doesn’t. FYI it takes E24 (standard base) 40 watt tapered/chandelier-style bulbs. You might have a time finding them, and they aren’t inexpensive either! Standard bulbs won’t fit inside the mason jar sconce. (And don’t buy E12 base ones — they’re too small. I see in the replies here even Home Depot got it wrong when asked!) None of the blades have grommets installed; you have individually install each and every one (3 per blade; 4 blades total). The height of the fan (nearly 19”!) is NOT adjustable / changeable AT ALL despite what the description says. The housing/mounting bracket are fixed and cannot be changed. Did Home Depot screw up and put the wrong description with this product? Because basically everything in the specs here is incorrect. Do not recommend at all. For the price point, you should be getting a much better unit. Spend your money elsewhere.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice fan I bought this fan yesterday and picked up today (May 21/21) I love the look of the fan however very disappointed the 3 LED 40 watt light bulbs (E26 base type) were not in the box as the description says they are included. We in Ontario are in lockdown and I can't get the bulbs and the store doesn't have them even if I was able to go in!! This fan is for a diningroom so bulbs kinda of important.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Incorrect information on packaging The box clearly states that this fan uses 3 "candelabra" bulbs, and the image shows the fan using candelabra (E12) base bulbs. I purchased a package of these bulbs and they do NOT fit. The fan uses a typical E26 base bulb, however, the decorative glass jars do not support a typical light bulb (my local Home Depot has no LED bulbs that can fit this fan). It appears that when they updated this fan from E12 (Candelabra) to E26 (standard base), they did not change the decorative glass jars accordingly to match the new bulb type. So this makes two problems entirely caused by the (incompetent?) manufacturer. 1. Don't sell products with incorrect information on the box. Seriously, if you are selling a light fixture, the least that a consumer can expect is that the packaging doesn't lie about what bulbs are used in the fixture. 2. Don't sell a product that requires some obscure type of LED light bulb without making this clear on the packaging. It is pretty bad that I can't get an LED bulb to fit this fan out of a very large selection at my local Home Depot store. 3 (bonus). Aside from the light bulb, the fan seems to be pretty good quality with the exception of the downrod. The threads on a ~1" diameter piece of metal shouldn't strip out as I am threading it in finger-tight. I have emailed Hunter Fan company with this complaint. Hopefully they are willing to make an effort to correct their error. I see from the other reviewers that I am not the only one who encountered this problem.

Yes you can install it without light kit . In the box there is part that you can use to cover the expose hole. It’s a round cap that can be used to cover that exposed hole.

It will work though.but depends how big your kitchen is . If it’s really huge and no wall cabinet in the way then yes otherwise it’s not safe to put in kitchen such large fan . We have to frequently reach higher spaces in kitchen so it’s unsafe to do that
