Rated 2 out of 5 by from Attaching and Releasing the socket on the drive is PITA Tool looks so nice (I bought it for its looks!) until one start pushing the socket on the wrench drive (male side). Never seen a tool so poorly made when you cant attach the socket without using a plier to push and cant remove without using a screw driver. Female side works excellent with magnet for bits. But I cant use this tool bcz socket wont go on the drive. What is wrong with this tool, Husky? Also be careful with your knife when you try to cut the plastic ring to secure the box.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very flawed The biggest flaw with this tool is the head is way too flexible. It does not maintain position while reaching into tight places. Also, the sockets can get stuck on the head and require a screwdriver (or two) to remove. Would not recommend.

How do you release the socket from handle

Asked by: Me
The sockets are held in place with a stiff standard ball detent. It is not the press to release lock that one finds on some socket sets. The detent holds the sockets very securely. I found it easier to use a small or medium flat screwdriver to lift the sockets up a little to remove them than to grip and pull the sockets off. The bits, such as Philips and flat, are very nicely retained by a strong magnet. Hand release for them worked well and the magnet holds the bits securely. Very nice.

Why is it now to thick to go where the old one would go easy without a problem. Yes the 1/4" socket mount was added where the old one had a bit driver for the 1/4" drive sockets which let work the same and kept it smaller.
