What are the advantages of a curved plier over a straight plier? If someone can give examples. I intend to get one of this to unscrew a hexagonal bolt--for which the 7 inch straight plier should be sufficient. However, if the curved plier can also do all that a straight jaw plier can do, then I will just purchase a 10 inch curved one which is only a dollar extra and is bigger.
Asked by: Bahosh
the curved one bites better on round things and the straight jawed one works better on flat stock. most things you'll need a locking pliers on are round, at least in my case it is.
