Quality of tools is comparable with specialty brands and warrantied for life at any Home Depot some of which are open 24/7 beat that guy in a truck!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy this I purchased this a couple of days ago after seeing it back in stock at my local store, and am overjoyed with the quality and content for the price. I got it for $75, I assume because it's an old model. The ratchets, sockets, and wrenches seem great quality, and while the driver and hex keys are cheap, the lifetime warranty means you can swap them in store when they inevitably wear out. The case seems fine to me so far, though I'm not bouncing it around in a vehicle, and I can see how the latches may wear out eventually.

Tools are good and worth the money, 4/5 stars, but the case is just bad, 2/5 stars, and really lets down the product. I legitimately hate opening it: every time, I waste 15 minutes of my life putting sockets and wrenches back in their places. And I dread closing it because I hear the tools falling out of their slots and know what's waiting for me next time. Last week, one of the front clasps broke, which means there's now even less chance of tools staying in their place. If you haven't had a socket set before, or a set with a bad case, you might think this is a minor point. For me, at least, it's really not. If I had to use these every day, or even every week, I'd absolutely give this set away to someone in need and buy a better set -- or rather, a set with a better case. Which is a shame, because the tools are good.

Great quality for such a great price. This tool kit isn't about quantity but about having the right tools that you use often. Some tool kits are 270 pieces and have a bunch of useless pieces you'll never use, not this set. Definitely a must have.

I am happy with my purchase of this product. However, I am trying to take apart the plastic storage case in which the sides are held in place with 4 screws (they do not have a typical screw head). What tools can I use to remove these screws?

Billy, This case is not held together by screws, these are rivets that run through the case for strength and stability. They are not designed to be removed.
